Bio and Links
Bio Photo I love this site and the friends that I have made on it. Helping people is something that I have always had an affinity for....with that:

*Please provide me with your familial relationship when requesting a transfer. Otherwise your request will be ignored- too many people get angry with me for asking and I simply am tired of this behavior. ALSO: DO NOT TRY AND BULLY ME INTO TRANSFERRING! I will contact FAG admin if this occurs.

PLEASE NOTE: I am willing & able to provide links to family members as well as add biographical information. That is not a reason for requesting a transfer UNLESS you are closely related and adding a substantial amount to the memorial.

I also authorize the use of my photos for family tree purposes.

There are several contributors I have worked closely with in central Nebraska transcribing cemeteries and filling in missing information. These ladies have been unselfishly helpful and concerned only with getting as much important information on a person as possible- not with individual glory. They are Ron & Ann Miller White (#46933224), M.Jensen Seggerman (#47078678), Lorraine Andersen (#46820770), and Beth Sparrow (# ). There are several others who have been helpful in many ways like providing pictures and correcting information. Thank you for helping me make the memorials I create more complete.

I really like a quote that FAG member Loren Bender has on his profile:
"Carry out a random act of kindness, with no expectation of reward, safe in the knowledge that one day someone might do the same for you."
~~~Princess Diana
Thank you!
RE: Browns in Aurora Cemetery
Hattie had a sister Ida Weston buried in Grand Island. Are you related to the family?
Susan Darnell Dye
I'm seeking information on Susan Darnell Dye who was the second wife of my Great Grandfather, Moses Dye. I have never been able to find my Great Grandfather who died in Seward Co., NE so hoping an obit for Susan or a death certificate would shed some light on Moses Dye.
Thank you for the work you do in adding headstone pictures to Find A Grave
RE: Welcome to FAG!
Hi Barb! I had to delete Colbys page and start over because another Find A Grave put on that picture of Colby doing cement work in the basement--which I absolutely hate ;( but in the process Bob Naber had to remove the picture of the grave that you had submitted--by chance do you still have those? I would love for you to replace the ones I have on there--yours were much better and it meant a lot to me that they were yours--you were such an important part of Colbys life, I will forever be greatful for all you did for him :)
Felix Heath # 65612898
!!! You've found him!!! With Catharine & their son on other sides of the same monument!!! This is definitely my Felix (R.)& family. Thank you for all the new pictures. I doubt he ever served in the Civil War though. He'd be going on 50 with a passel of young'uns after being guardian for all the Simmons orphans for ages and......I do know he was born in Pickaway Co., Ohio, rem'd to Illinois, to Green County, Wisconsin, finally to Nebraska. The dates are correct. I have no evidence he ever was in Missouri, much less to enlist.
I looked up the contributor Cameron-Ashley Heath (#46896958) who submitted the service record for a Felix Heath. She would probably be thrilled if you make up a separate memorial for him. Hope you've still got the other picture with the worn top, it was an 'H' after all. I'm afraid I don't remember the stone itself having any dates.
I so thrilled to know Catharine's found, I'm probably not making home email is on my contributor page if you need to reach me directly.
Thank you so very much,
Cynthia in Wisconsin
Scarr, William and Christina
You have their birth and death as unknown. They are buried at Riverside Cemetery in Gibbon. Do you have any information on them? Christina P. Householder Scarr is a 1st cousin 3 times removed. I was just trying to update my information. I know they died after 1940.
RE: Ulysses Cemetery Ulysses, Butler County
I do not know what caused their deaths. I assume the cemetery is in two section. One part in one township and the other in another township. I have been able to find the NORTHWAY graves, but not the SHIELDS until you posted their names.
I am researching the descendants of those buried in a small rural cemetery in Rush County, Indiana. A little over 600 in the cemetery and it is still active. One of my oldest is James Kitchen 1770-1854, his wife died 1831, she had eleven children. I am trying to find where all eleven went. I am down to the final three children. SHields family is one of his descendants.
Thanks for posting them on Find A Grave. It really does help. I had names but could not findout what happen to them.
