When I discovered this website, I was determined to try to be a part in bringing faces, stories and history to the people who have passed before us. My father and grandfather both kept diary books and left me with the sense that their ancesters needed to be remembered. I have done Genealogy research for many years on several names within my family. I have been entering cemetery information about others outside my family also. I find that this website is a valuable source when tracing ancestry so memorials of loved ones long past is important to me. I have found contributors to be very helpful and cooperative as I will try to be to others asking for information, transfers or even photographs if possible. Please use the edit tab to notify me of any changes or additions to a specific memorial. By the way, the picture to the left is of me (taken a while back.)|

You've been busy again!! Thank you very much for the photos and corrections.

Thanks for the transfer and sincere thanks
for all you do to preserve the memory of
Two memorials you added to Nebraska Find-A-Grave caught my eye. One was Thomas Warren Allmon, who is my G-G-Grandfather from my father's family? Are you related to him, by chance?
The other is Absalom Donahoo. Since you are a Donahoo, this is probably likely! Absalom is a brother to my G-G-G-Grandfather Andrew Jackson Donahoo, from my mother's family.
If you are related to either of my great-grandfather's, I would love to hear from you.

tHANKS FOR THE INFO, I would like to submit a suggestion, we mark Martha's memorial with NO stone in 2015 found, but cemetery burial records indicate she is buried next to Nathan :) That way it kinda connects them as there are a lot of Redfields in that cemetery LOL and all are not direct lines. For Nathan, since in our area there is usually a stone and a military stone, I didn't realize their might not be another one Opps,
Thanks for all your work in doing a WHOLE section. Last year I did a whole cemetery, WHEW, worked with the Historical transcriptions of 1950 and 1993 and the cemetery records. I know it is a great deed and enjoyed by all family and relatives. Thanks for all your efforts!

Hi thank you for posting the picture of the tombstone for Nathan Redfield. Do you have any others that show the birth/death dates. the one posted only shows he was in the service with no dates. I need to confirm this is the Nathan I am looking for, I think I supplied the dates on the memorial so it doesn't verify that those are the correct dates or Nathan I am related to and looking for. Thanks so much for volunteering with Find A Grave, I also did a whole cemetery back here in my County in Ohio, I appreciate the time you took to do these memorial picture postings :)

I'm the great-great granddaughter of Catherine Donahoo Dean, one of John's daughters. This Sunday is the 175th anniversary of the Lisbon, Iowa, United Methodist Church. The first meeting was held in the cabin of John Donahoo in 1840, in what's now Lisbon, Iowa.
My husband and I plan to attend. I'm writing a brief biography of John Donahoo to expand the information they have.
Am I correct that John, Kezziah, and Mathilda Donahoo's burial places are unknown?
I'm very happy to represent the Donahoos at this celebration. Do you have greetings, information on John and Kezziah that you wish to share for it?

I was at Voss Mohr today for a photo request, and while there took some additional photos. I photographed the headstone of Kyle and have added 2 pictures to his memorial page. Sometime ago, you added a photo of his temporary marker. Would you be able to remove that photo now? Memorial page #113980499.

Thank you so much for all of your time and effort in putting this website together. My sisters son died at a very young age(4 years of age). She has since then moved away from Nebraska and has not returned. She has been unable to go back and see her son gravesite. I see from the photo that it is being well cared for. Thank you so much for making this possible. I am compelled to send flowers and decorate this precious souls grave. My heart breaks for my sister. She has never been the same since loosing her son. God Bless You.

Bill Mitchell was my great uncle. As my dad was an only child and Bill was only a few years older, Uncle Bill was more of an uncle and their two boys more like first cousins. If you are not related to Bill or Donita, I would appreciate taking over management of Bill's memorial. Thanks for your consideration. I have also submitted an edit to link Bill to his parents: Ira and Cora Mitchell.
