Military Headstones
Hey, Rich, Do you know of any stones where the American Field Service is designated on a military stone? I've looked and searched and can't find any. We are just wondering how it is usually designated. THANKS! -glenda

John C. Liddle
I just posted a picture for John C. Liddle, and his wife.

There grave stone was behind a huge monument I couldn't get fit behind. As you can see it is taken at an angle.

I don't have a program to crop the picture from the memory card.
If you don't like it, please delete it.

If couples are together I take them both together. Im going to start a virtual cemetery with spouse of veterans…. So many are not document with there spouse's. Ive come to notice as I photograph the cemeteries.

Spouse's are a strong force of support for these veterans. I growing up with my father in the Navy for 20 years and my own husband for 24 years. Being a spouse of a veteran takes a special person! Not everyone can do it. And, I know this from experience of other veterans spouses.

Well, thats why Im here. The clean up woman ;o) and happy to do so.

That is such a nice way of saying I made a duplicate - "site hiccup." I deleted the one. Thank you.

Maude McGinnis Toddy Ireland
Hello. Re. your suggested correction for her last name, this is my Great-Grandmother; she was first married to Riley Toddy, then F.Ireland. Is there a better way to list both married names? I want her to be searchable with both. Thank you!

RE:
Thank yo for the info about Emmet Mohr. William was married to my great-aunt Myrtle. I won't get to my computer 'till layer today so can't see the message on Ancestry just yet..maybe you said there, but are you related to the Mohrs? I never met William. Aunt Myrtle was married a number of times.
Thanks!

Stanley Mraczek entry, St. Gregory, North East
Thank you so much for making this entry!! This was my Uncle, and I knew he served in WWII in the Army Air Corps, but had no idea he was a Sgt. or what years. I have his WWII photo, and some negatives from pix my Dad took during the war that look like his planes. Dad, A.J. Alexa, served in the Navy at Pearl Harbor, and I have his uniforms, all the photos he took there, etc. and no one to leave them to. Perhaps the WWII museum at Eldred, PA. Thanks again for finding Stash for me, perhaps I can post a photo of his stone, and the portrait. Marji
