Bio and Links
Bio Photo San Diego has some of the best Find a Grave contributors who are doing an amazing job of documenting our local cemeteries. If you need a grave photo there is no shortage photo volunteers. If you are looking for an obituary, cemetery information or advice we have volunteers happy to help you.
If you are new to Find a Grave and want to start contributing in the San Diego area please read the FAQs or reach out to someone with your questions.

Please always do a search before creating a new memorial

Links, Corrections and additional information
Please use the edit tab and I will be happy to make corrections, add links and additional information. Do not leave information you want added on this page.

Note: Abstracted lists (such as census, death index, etc.) should be formulated into complete sentences prior to submitting for addition to the bio.
Copy-and-paste census, military and other data is not a "bio". Please don't send these type of bios because they will not be added.

Transfers
This is Find-a-Grave, we find graves, so please, if the memorial doesn't have a grave photo, request one prior to asking for a transfer.
I'm pretty liberal when it comes to transfers, however too many times I have transferred and nothing is added or changed. So if you want a transfer, please:
1. Post any family photos (if you have them)
2. Provide me with family links and biographical information you wish to add to the memorial.
3. Tell me your exact relationship

I will not make a transfer if you create excessive memorials with unknown burial locations.

Please be a Find a Grave contributor, not just a collector of someone else's work

✔ PLEASE NOTE!!! Do not move your Burial Unknown into the correct cemetery based on the information you found from my memorial & then demand that I delete my duplicate.

Sherman L. Heck Headstone picture for Memorial #113222293
I have a question. Would you have put a picture of the headstone--if there was one--when you created this burial record?

I don't want to ask a volunteer to take a picture if there isn't a headstone.

Thank you so much.

Peggy

RE: Gustav and Precious Reetz
No but I have a friend who is. Here's link to his page- http://www.stickels.org/directory/Stickels-Terry.html

I am in the process of posting the next generation to his line, this will then show the connection.

Keep up the good work at FindaGrave

My mistake.
Wait, my mistake...I see what I did. Her birthday is Feb 9th 1863. I shouldn't be doing this so late at night. :)

RE: Louise
I disagree on Louise's birth/death date. Here is her death index:

https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:VPQ5-X14

Her birthdate you can see is in February here (as Lou Radovich):
https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:M95Q-QYB
...which leads me to believe that the birthdate on the death index above is correct (Feb 9th 1863)

This is just some of the info I have found, there is a number of other sources, but these are the most relevant.

Thanks, -Chris

That is a great photo of Jim. So glad you found it. Did you know we are working on LGBT historic sites in San Diego? New project.
