Born and raised in Sacramento, CA; now residing in Placer County. I'm a retired secretary and a long-time genealogist. |
Additional info and corrections are very welcome! If anyone wants to take over the management of their family's memorial from me, just ask. Please feel free to use my headstone photos too.
My contributions to Find-A-Grave are two-fold. First, I like to provide information for other genealogists in their hunt for new data on their family; and secondly, I want to create a nice memorial tribute for the deceased. Everyone should be remembered.

Thank you for the offer, I created the memorial so no need. Yes, he is my father in law, and I'm in Ohio, so it is nice to see the marker you posted. Thanks again.

Thank you so much for posting the photo of Neil's headstone.

Well, it's a small world. I just took and posted the photo of her mother's gravestone this morning. I had no idea there was a connection between Mrs. Hutchinson and Mrs. Hearn out in the Raleigh Cemetery. I wish I knew where the Hearn family is buried in the Raleigh Cemetery, but I may never find that out. Thanks for the 'link' tip.

Thanks for correcting the death date instate of the trial date I had. Appreciate your thoroughness. kcv
Thank you so much for the transfer. Anita

I wish I was healthy enough to do the things you do, but I'm not. I'm also at a point where I don't make any long term commitments. Ancestry has given me an opportunity to "set something aside" for my children and grandchildren. You know, the things you wish you had said. The things they didn't know about you.
But I've also had time to think about things people do for no reward for other people. People like you.Recognition is generally not sought, seldom given but always appreciated. Thank you again for your work.
I usually create the memorial and then go back and do the research for their bio on Find A Grave. Thank you for the information about him. It will save me some time in looking.

Thank you for the work you do. I was very pleased to read about the work Marie did during and after W.W. II. I will be adding this story to her profile page.

You spoil me the way you make requested changes so quickly! I wish every Find A Grave contributor was so responsive.
