| Bio and Links | I recently joined to update my kinfolk's online info and realized what a huge commitment the avid gravers make toward keeping history alive. But I am so thankful that there are folks who do such a good work and hope I can help them in some small way. If anyone has any additional info I need to add or corrections I need to make, please email and I will be glad to make the changes. If you are a close relative and are interested in a transfer, please contact me with relationship so I can consider it. | |

 | Jones Cemetery - Egan Hi Charlotte,
I noticed that a couple of years ago you visited Jones Cemetery. I am wondering if you can provide me details as to where exactly on CR 807 it is located. I would like to fulfill the photo requests for the cemetery if possible. And while there I would like to go ahead an photograph ALL the headstones and add them to their respective memorials on Find A Grave. I do know that the cemetery is on private land, however there is very little information as to its exact location. All I know is that it is behind an old house and a hill. I have driven CR 807 in its entirety and have not even seen a clue as to where it might be.
I am familiar with CR 807 as I have lived near the area for over 30 yrs. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You!! | | | Bennight Girl

 | RE: Bennight kin? Hi. I haven't added anything to Find A Grave, I just joined a few days ago, but I can see you have done a lot of work, which is much appreciated. Here is the short version of what I have on my ancestors. I found a few of the dates and locations here on Find A Grave. I have quite a bit of information about the Wards, but would welcome more if you would like to exchange information. My main focus is the Bennight line, but I'm working on the entire family. It's kind of like a big jigsaw puzzle.

 | RE: Lane Prairie Cemetery Your welcome for the information. However I may have been wrong on a few memorials. I shouldn't have assumed that because the memorials created in Old Lane Prairie had headstone photos that they were correct and yours were wrong. The exception being on Aurelia Brooks. My suggestion at this point before you change any more memorials would be to do this:
1. I would submit your list of memorials via email to this contributor: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=mr&MRid=47676602 She has photographed every grave in both cemeteries and could tell exactly what the correct burial location is.
2. You could also use this link http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~t42cemeteries/USER/TX/JohnsonCo/OldLanePrairie/ to verify if any of your memorials are actually buried in Old Lane Prairie. It looks like they have photographed every grave there.
Sorry to have opened up this can of worms. I should have been a little more careful to make sure of my information before submitting a SAC.
You will need to copy and paste both links to open them. | | | Pam
 | Gilia Barnett Hi I was wondering if you are related to Gilia and Rose Barnett? His sister Carmon raised me as her own and I have been playing with their family tree. Pam Jasmin0005@aol.comAdded by Pam on Jan 24, 2013 12:28 AM | | | dis466
 | RE: Adams transfers The house is just down the street from me on Hereford St. It has a circular drive and is cut limestone. Mary still lives there and is absolutely the sweetest person I know.

 | Adams transfers I have transferred the records you requested. Ernest and Mabel lived down the street from where I grew up. My grandchildren and I try to see Mary as much as we can. Thanks for keeping the family connected and if there are other records you need, let me know. KayAdded by dis466 on Jan 08, 2013 11:43 PM | | | The Stubbs
