I'm wondering if you're very sure of the parents for this person. I suspect that he is the son of John M Hart and Margaret E Hatfield. In my work on my tree I'm tracing the Hart line in Kentucky. I have a marriage for John and Margaret in Grayson County Kentucky, then a census record for them in 1860 in Menard County, Illinois. He would have had an older sister Laura and younger brother William M and little sister named Mary E.

Welch Cemetery (Evans Rd) N 35.27.45 W 86.51.08
I have since found out this is not Welch Cemetery. It is called Coggins Bercheen Cemetery. It was copied in 1959 by Tim and Helen Marsh who wrote the Marshall County cemetery book. Also if you look at Evie's stone you will notice it reads Evie A. Baxter. The A I think stands for Aileen and the nickname for Aileen was Nettie.

Your pictures are uploaded. Apparently from what I saw, William and Evie Baxter were the last two people buried in this cemetery.

Welch Cemetery
Would you believe there were 4 cemeteries named Welch in Marshall County. I have been in 2 of them. One listed on the road I live on Welch (Yell) does not exist. We have witched the area, found nothing. We did find the graves listed as being in this cemetery as being in another cemetery called at one time Welch Thompson. Welch-Thompson is now called McDaniel Cemetery. Most of the graves listed in the cemetery you have listed are not in the Welch cemetery you have listed. They are Welch Cemetery at the corner of Fount Harris and Ewing Lane. From Ewing lane to the New Columbia Hiway is now called Welch Cemetery road. 98% of what you have listed is in this cemetery.

The graves you want pictures of are in the cemetery(I Believe you have listed.) There is a Marshall County Cemetery Book. That lists most of the Marshall County cemeteries, but they missed it. What I don't understand is, is that it is on the old maps. I can send you a copy of the interments of the Welch Cemetery (Ewing Lane and Fount Harris)but I will have to work to get to the cemetery you need. I know where its at, I just don't know how to get to it with trepassing on someones land, but I will work on it.

My friends and I photograph Civil War Veterans graves and GPS. I know the area.

Betty Watkins
I just wanted to let you know that the memorial for Betty in Liberty Cemetery should be in Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery. I know that the obituaries show Liberty Cemetery but the original name was as still is on the cemetery sign Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery. I don't know if this contributor Crystal Small is still active as last message to her was back in 2012. I have gotten it down to seven and still working on getting those to the correct cemetery. Just wanted to let you know. Thanks, Henry
