My name is Arleta. Married 47 years, 4 children, 12 grand-children; we became great-grandparents in 2010, with four more in 2013-2015 (and I'm so young!). Life is exciting to say the least.
We love the Lord Jesus, believe in salvation by grace and in the power of prayer. "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Romans 10:13 ☆**¨*.ΈΈ.*¨*☆**☆*¨*.ΈΈ.*¨**☆ I am one of the 8th great-grandchildren of Godfrey I and Mary Ragsdale who died 372 years ago on April 18, 1644. ☆**¨*.ΈΈ.*¨*☆**☆*¨*.ΈΈ.*¨**☆ I have been doing genealogy since the early '70s when it meant going to those dusty ol' archives in court house basements. Now most information is only a click away and way easier to connect to a long lost cousin you didn't even know you had! ☆**¨*.ΈΈ.*¨*☆**☆*¨*.ΈΈ.*¨**☆
Husband's cousin, Bert Brown passed away February 14, 2016.
Of our twelve grandchildren, #6 & 7 are graduating from James Madison University in May. One looks forward to being a special education teacher and the other will further studying to qualify as a physical therapist for wounded warriors.
We are extremely proud and will be joining family celebrations and therefore will not be online for a few days at a time.
Thank you for remembering my loved ones on their Birth and Angel Days.
Hi Arleta, I've been spending a few days updating my husband's part of the family tree and noticed you had visited most of the memorials in that virtual cemetery. I just want to thank you. I know how much time it takes. I am not able to return the favor to any where near that extent as I'm not on here much right now. So thank you. I'm sure you have visited other memorials of mine. You've sure done a lot on this site! Take care and God bless. Rosie
