Louis R. Ruffner
Hello Cherokee Rose,
I'm going to be in Louisville soon and will try to look up the actual obituary and then I'll make the note as you suggested and correct the name per the obituary.
Thank you for the link to spouse, it has been added.
Are you related?

I now have an Aunt who lives in Mount Pleasant, Henry Co, Iowa. I wonder if the county recorder would have that on file. Gladly pay them five bucks or so.
Thank you for the info (hmmm... Ledore, I suppose I've seen more unusual things).

Hello Cherokee Rose,
Because this lot has no individual markers - I used the Lot Card from the office. Because of that I am leaving the name as is, until another records source can be found, such as marriage or military, etc. Something this person would have answered.
The KY Death Certificate could be the error, the Lot Card would be from other family and the funeral home.
Thank you very much for the input, it is added to the memorial.

Regarding your note that reads "Harry Sedore and Elizabeth Long were married in Henry County, Iowa." on the memorial for Elizabeth Jane Long Sedore (Find A Grave Memorial# 66001221):
I hope you can back this up with some source information. The family has been unable to discover anything about Harry's marriage to Elizabeth or about her family. Any insight would be appreciated.
Thanks for catching that birth date for Mabel West in Woodland. Marker looks like 1888, but checking cemetery records, the birthdate is 1868. Granite ones gets faded and worn fast. Eyes wearing out reading the markers too.

Thank you for the suggestion regarding Memorial# 50929048, but both their names and dates are on the same stone; mother on top and daughter on the bottom.

In the past I have made changes to memorials and then someone else tells me the information is incorrect. That makes me a little caution to make changes when no sources are included. When I request information to be update I use the edit button on the memorial and go to "Suggest any other correction or addition". That way I can give the proof for update. Sharon

It might have been from an SAC. I used google, and found another transcript that has her last name as Sellzink. I'll make a note on the memorial.

I absolutely love this site! I collect all the photos I take for each cemetery and upload them every few months or so. I also use it to fulfill some photo requests when I cannot get out to the cemeteries to take them on my own (mostly in the winter). These photos are just out there on the website waiting to be united with a memorial that someone took the time to create on findagrave.com so I try to get the two united :) Enjoy!
