THANK YOU, Luanne --- I REALLY appreciate this!!!! I would imagine MOST of the Benner's in this cemetery are related to me one way or the other. William is my GGrand Uncle on my Mother's side (Maple).
Any others you might find would be appreciated.
God bless your efforts!!!

That clears it up for me...thank you. It's so easy to confuse the generations. We're on the same generational line...5th cousins.

That's interesting...leaves more to be investigated. Jabob Weddington . I have a different mother listed for your William b 1846 and Harve b. 1849. She's Parthenia Davis b. abt 1805. He had four children, two of which were named William. I descend from the other, William Henry b. 1816. My lineage is as follows:
Jacob 1777 -> William Henry 1816 -> William Claybern 1853 ->Anna Fern 1887 -> my maternal grandfather
I'm from Jane Presley, his first wife. I have the marriage's and dates as follows:
Jane Presley m. Feb 26, 1797 (last child b 1816)
Parthenia Davis m. 1845 (first child b. 1846 last child Harve b. 1849)
Catherine Daily m. 1855
The info is from marriage and census records. I don't question the marriage dates and names, however the census info usually leaves much open for debate. I don't have them in front of me, but they are easily accessible on ancestry. With the marriage dates it doesn't leave much time for another women to mother William and Harve, but not impossible. ..difficult to prove if there was no marriage...with the other wives.

Are you also a Weddington descendant?
