I've been doing genealogy and poking into history for nearly 40 years now. My mom got me started when she became curious about where her ancestors came from in Germany and where my dad's ancestors came from in France. In the process of researching, I got hooked on genealogy and historical research. |
I am the admin for Norton County Kansas GenWeb web pages http://skyways.lib.ks.us/genweb/norton/index.html and the Norton County Kansas Genealogical Society web pages http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~ksncgs2/, so I do a lot of research in Norton county, Kansas, as well as researching my own families and my husband's families.

Hi! Photos posted. There are many more Johns' buried in this area (at least 10 more). You can see two others in the photos I posted. If you ask me a name I may already have a photo. Ace

Hi! In regards to your photo request, can you please call the cemetery and obtain the grave location (Section & Lot numbers) and ask them whether or not there is a grave marker? Please post this information to the memorial or send it to me.
Forest Home Cemetery: 708-366-1900 or 773-287-0772
Forest Home is a huge cemetery with well over 70,000 burials, and the information is needed in order to find someone there and take a photo of a grave. I go here regularly, and since August I have found over 150 graves at Forest Home that had the location information provided. Thank you! Ace

There is no Dorcas, although there are many other Wilcoxes and Pinneys.
I am related to the Wilcoxes through marriage of a distant cousin. My family is from Worthington going back to the 1830's.
|Grant Merrill||Alfred PATNAUDE|
There's your entry on Find A Grave for an Alfred PATNAUDE (1881-1951) buried Saint Johns Cem, L'Erable, Iroquois Co, Illinois with a very clear tombstone photo showing the same name and dates. Do you have any more info on this gentleman. I'm unable to find him in Ancestry or in my fairly extensive PATENAUDE/PATNAUDE/PATNODE database.

Thanks so much for taking the photo of their stone. May I add it to my family tree? I would gladly give you credit for it.
