We have been doing family research for our family for many years and that is our primary interest in having a Find-A-Grave account. |
She is a GA native and He is a SC native.
We are still researching three main family names on one side: JEFFCOAT, INABINET, & CARTIN...also SENN & STABLER and on the other side the two main family names are: RUSSELL & JOINER...also WHITE, RICKETSON, HENDERSON and there are many more names but those are top priority.
We enjoy genealogy because not only is it a link to a person's past ancestors, it is history. It is very fascinating to learn so many things about ancestors and descendants, a particular area and about distant relatives. We enjoy "graveyard-hopping" as we call it and look forward to contributing to my own family on this website as well as for others!
As we create memorials if you are a family member please let us know and we will be glad to transfer the memorial to you as we would expect others to transfer our family members to us.
We think if a family member asks you to transfer a memorial you should not have a problem doing so because of many reasons but the main reason is the family member can contribute more accurate added information. In some cases, a stranger has created the memorial before a family member had the chance to so therefore; don't take offense if a family member wants it transferred...
We have had several memorials transferred to us and we are so grateful to be able to manage our family's memorials!!!
HAPPY GRAVE HUNTING!!!

Many thanks for posting the photo of Louise I. Bedenbaugh's grave marker in Saluda South Carolina (1845-1917) . She is the great grandmother of my wife, Louise Bedenbaugh Charles.

|Janet T||Hankinson request|
I did a search for New Hope and found a Baptist church in Pelion. On Find a grave there is another Cemetery called New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery with almost 300 people interred including the Hankinsons. Heres a link.

|Susan Williams||RE: William Perry Jeffcoat.|
I have been unable to find William's parents myself. But, I do know he was adopted by William A. Axson and Charlotte Brown. His death certificate states Sallie Key/Keye as his mother, I am wondering if Sallie P. Axson (daughter of William A and MARGARET Brown) was his mother and had him out of wedlock. Maybe William was his grandfather????
