You are most welcome. I live in Oregon, but was in Texas on vacation. Took pictures in my spare time. Have a great day!

liz & lee--thanks so much for the transfer! I actually do have a copy of Roy's death certificate and that's how I found out he was buried in New Braunfels. Are you related, as well? If so, I have death certificates from most of the siblings and I'd be happy to share that information with you. You two have done an amazing amount of work on this website--thank you! Laura

Hello! This is my Grandfather (memorial 132255049) and I am so excited to see his marker! I've never been able to figure out why he was buried in New Braunfels, unless my step-grandmother, Lola, might have been from there. Will you please transfer management to my account? Do you have any plot or other location information? Also, may I use your photo of the stone in my tree, with proper attribution, of course. Thank you so much! Laura T

Thank you for adding Thekla’s obituary and making the changes so quickly!
The main reason I suggested making her last name “Barth Bartels” is that both names (Barth and Bartels) are on her gravestone. Also all of her children were Barth’s.
I hadn’t been sure that Edwin Henry Bartels was her Edwin. His first wife didn’t die until 1969 and Thekla (according to the obit) married him in 1959. I am kin to the Barth side (Thekla’s son Eugene Barth is buried next to his wife in the Appling Cemetery.) so I don’t know anything about the Bartels.
Thanks also for taking and adding the pictures of Thekla, Herman and Urban Barth and their parents!
Thank you so much for the Black headstone photos you took and added from my family's requests! Mary Black Martinson
