Find A Grave Memorial# 22223115
Ron, Jack Riley Vaughn was married first to Mertie Ledbettr, after his death se married Jeff Murphy. A triple stone was put up with he surname MURPHY across the top center. hn Myrtie died she was buried between both her husbands. Jack Riley Vaughn was NOT a Murphy... This isa very common mistake by all who see this tombstone.
The above listing you have on Find A Grave wll help you locae the listing that needs corrected. Thanks so much.
Bobbie Murphy Farley
Thanks to all the good folks that have restored and uncovered this old grave sites. 35 yearsago we searched for Nogal cemertary,up down and around the mountain. to no avail. Thet came in covered wagons in 1880's. Iam new with the computer,so this site has been so helpful and easy. If transportion was;nt a problem I wound surley volunteer. THANKS again to all at grave finders.

Thank you for documenting the graves in the Angus Cemetery. I am hoping to you can update Ida C. Parker, Find A Grave # 8504839. Her husband is D.C. Parker, Find A Grave # 8504844. You have him listed as D.O. Parker. I will send you a clearer image of the headstone.

|Ron Goode||Jasper Phillips|
Ron, there are two grave memorials listed for a Jasper Phillips in this cemetery, and I am not sure if they are the same. Memorial #22798675 is one you set up with a photo of a family headstone. The second memorial was set up with by a no longer active member, and has a photo of the military headstone with the same name but different B/D dates. Having said that the B/D dates are very close. Can you shed any light on there being a connection. I have not been to the cemetery myself so I do not know if both stones are on the same grave. I am doing historical research on Jasper Phillips the Union soldier, and wanted to get the information correct. Anything you can provide will be appreciated.

Links from Junior Brown # 22223072 and Fred Brown # 22223071 are connected as children of Elva Brown # 26951426 and Collie Brown # 26951422. I am related to Geneva, the daughter of Elva and Collie Brown and she states that it is not correct. Do you have information that Junior and Fred are children of Elva and Collie Brown. If not could you please drop the links. Thanks

I believe you have Paul passing away in 1968 but it should be 1988.
|Leona Gustafson||RE: Fire|
Thanks for letting me know about the fire, Ron. The cemetery is, apparently, another victim of the terrible fires that are destroying so many acres of forest and all within. -- Leona
