Find A Grave Memorial# 22223115
Ron, Jack Riley Vaughn was married first to Mertie Ledbettr, after his death se married Jeff Murphy. A triple stone was put up with he surname MURPHY across the top center. hn Myrtie died she was buried between both her husbands. Jack Riley Vaughn was NOT a Murphy... This isa very common mistake by all who see this tombstone.

Thanks to all the good folks that have restored and uncovered this old grave sites. 35 yearsago we searched for Nogal cemertary,up down and around the mountain. to no avail. I only knew my grandmothers nic name. when I came across my granddads headstone, amazed,this lead to more links of the puzzle. Ihave found greatparents and so many others I didn't know about. Thet came in covered wagons in 1880's. Iam new with the computer,so this site has been so helpful and easy. If transportion was;nt a problem I wound surley volunteer. Ron, there are two grave memorials listed for a Jasper Phillips in this cemetery, and I am not sure if they are the same. Memorial #22798675 is one you set up with a photo of a family headstone. The second memorial was set up with by a no longer active member, and has a photo of the military headstone with the same name but different B/D dates. Having said that the B/D dates are very close. Can you shed any light on there being a connection. I have not been to the cemetery myself so I do not know if both stones are on the same grave. I am doing historical research on Jasper Phillips the Union soldier, and wanted to get the information correct. Anything you can provide will be appreciated.
