I love genealogy my only wish is that my husband of 40 years had the same interest so that we could do this together. Second to that my daughter, Jana has picked up the interest and whenever possible she and I both work together, which is very rewarding. The old saying "two heads are better than one" is definately true. In Feb.2012 my husband had a stroke and with the care for him my time is limited for genealogy and entering memorials on findagrave. I still love finding time here and there to play around on the site. It is so rewarding to find a memorial of an ancestor, still finding new ones often, last one was as recent as 1/3/2013. As more members join and more memorials are entered I'm sure the rewards will continue...thanks to those who submit and manage memorials w/o you this site wouldn't grow. This is a wonderful site for honoring passed loved ones. Hats off to the one who thought of this idea. Thank you for your hard work as well.
ANY MEMORIALS I HAVE CONTRIBUTED MAY BE COPIED AND USED FOR GENEALOGICAL RESEARCH OR PERSONAL USE ON FAMILY TREES, ANCESTRY.COM ACCOUNTS AND OR FAMILY NEWSLETTERS, ETC. WITHOUT SHARING WHERE WOULD GENEALOGY RESEARCH BE? IF THERE IS A MEMORIAL THAT I HAVE SUBMITTED THAT IS A LOVED ONE OF YOURS, ASK AND IF THEY ARE NOT CLOSELY RELATED TO ME I WILL BE GLAD TO TRANSFER. PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT IT MAY BE WRITTEN IN STONE BUT STILL BE WRONG AND SHOULD BE USED ONLY AS A GUIDE FOR YOUR RESEARCH. IF YOU USE MY NOTES, PLEASE GIVE CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE, I DO. Happy hunting, Diana | |

 | RE: Wolfe Memorials I have to admit that my husband took the photo for me! He took some this morning but the front of the headstone faces west (surprisingly) and they were in the shadows, so he went back this afternoon and took the photos I uploaded for you. I'll pass along your thanks to him! So happy we could help! | | | Beth in Colorado
 | Wolfe's Family belongs to Family, Miss Diana. Miss Genevieve and Earl Wolfe's Memorials are now yours to care for. Beth | | | Larry David Terrell

 | William Robert Miller Hi, these three Miller children are my relatives in Wallace Cemetery, Limestone Co. AL. According to Bible Records i have, William was born in 1898,the memorial lists 1892. Would you mind taking a closer look at the photo and see if you don't agree? I would like for you to edit the date, if you don't mind. I know these stones are old and hard to read. I will forever be in your debt for posting these. I have actual photos of the graves that are not easy to read, but had no idea which cemetery they were in until i found your posts. Thank you so much for your time and effort. Maggie Holt Miller that is listed in this cemetery is their mother. She was my great-grandmother.
Thanks again, Deborah Miller Taylor | | | God Bless & R.I.P. ~ Daughter Of An Angel ~

 | RE: The Grubbs Your welcome, I know where Washington Grubbs is buried, but there is no monument, and the cemetery that he was supposingly buried in was made after he died, and there is nothing out there it is so desolate. I live not far from there, I am going in the fall when it is cool and spend the weekend with my cousin or just spend the day driving around and looking and taking pictures. I probably won't find a marker, My Great Grandparents are buried in Eldorado Cemetery in Eldorado, Oklahoma, his father doesn't have a memorial, but my Great Grandfather bought four lots for four graves, and only used his and my Grandmother's, but we have his obituary and we know he was buried there. I do like Find A Grave, I want these people to be remembered, but now days it cost over $7,000 to bury someone, and people just do not have the money, and we will probably see a lot more without markers.
