Going forward, unless there is a compelling reason, I will only transfer listings of people someone knew closely, i.e. parent, child or close friend. I'm sorry, but someone who died 200 years ago could be related to thousands of people. I prefer you add one of my listings under your umbrella using the virtual cemetery feature at Find A Grave. If you have additional information, I will happily add it and list you as the contributor.
Also, please do not ask me add an obituary to a person's memorial. see Find A Grave policy below:
Can I add an obituary to my interment listing?
It is best to not copy obituary notices from newspapers to an individual's memorial record unless you have permission from the newspaper to do so. In general, obituaries in newspapers are submitted by the family. If the obituary is added to the memorial record, it should list the newspaper and date the obit was printed. Find A Grave reserves the right to remove obituary notices from memorial records.
Obituaries for "famous" individuals are usually written by newspaper staff and can not be posted to Find A Grave.
Please do not include website addresses that may be listed in the obituary as they usually expire within a year after the obituary is printed.

|Su||Caroline Skidmore d 11 Dec 1837 #10341474|
Do you possibly have a photo for the gravestone of Caroline Skidmore who died 11 Dec 1837 at 41 yrs, 10 mos, 11 days and who was the second wife of Capt Hubbard Skidmore and is buried in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery? You created her memorial in 2005. I believe that she may have a daughter: Elizabeth Skidmore (29 Aug 1816-24 Jan 1842) #52531561 who is attributed to be the daughter of Hannah McCoun Skidmore who died 13 Feb 1815, which would have been impossible.

|Margaret C Cowles||Looking for the correct Easton, Pa Cemetery|
I have distant kin Joseph Fletcher b. 8 Sept 1830 in England who's death certificate states that he was "removed" to Easton, PA. Joseph died on 21 April 1917 in Philadelphia and was buried on the 25th.
I've searched all the cemeteries in F.A.G. that were listed as being in Easton. There were 4 with phone numbers that I'll try. Many more that didn't. They were all in Northampton co, not Clarion co.
I will call Easton, Easton Heights, Hays & Northampton Memorial Shrine. If I don't get any good information, will you please help me?
Thanks for listening.
|Anonymous||Susan A Gordon|
Hi Rich, I too are searching for family history, so grateful for these sites. Saw Susan A Gordon listed at Boonton, date may match who we are looking for. Susan's husband was Issac H Gordon, unfortunately murdered by a George Acker.The book written "the Execution &Trial of George Acker, is now in the Library of Congress. There is no mention of where Isaac was buried anywhere. Do you know if Susan was the wife of Isaac, and any other data or direction to check? These are my husband's ancestors, Issac the Grandson of Patriot Capt William Gordon of NJ... Thanks so very much for your preserving history. June Fay

Is this Matthew or Mattthias Williamson ? if it is Matthias he was born in 1716 and died in 1807. I have found records that say Matthais in buried in St. John;s Church Yard in Elizabeth, Union County, New Jersey.
Thanks Davied Engelking
|SleepingDog||Col. Francis Barber|
I just sent in an edit for Col. Barber's date of death that I came across in an old book. I have added that article to his Find A Grave entry to show that it is supposed to have happened at that time.
Just thought you might be interested to know about it.
