My name is Caryn Dugo, and I am originally from Chicago, IL, although I am currently living in Colorado. My family ties are definately midwest, (Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania) but I am only 3rd generation American born. The family names I am researching are both Sicilian (Altavilla Milicia) and Northern Italian (Pont Canavese north of Turin), and Polish--Dugo (D'Ugo), Picchiottino (and shorter spellings), Bausano, Chiovino, Tarasiuk, Swiokla, Szwedka. I have been lucky enough to find cousins on both sides of the Atlantic, ranging from 3rd to 5th generation.|
Joining findagrave has been something I could really get into, as I have sooo much information, and needed a place to share it. I especially love the older cemeteries with the monuments that have pictures embedded in them. It gives me more of a feeling of family, rather than just dealing with names and dates. For me, Genealogy is more of a passion than a hobby.
I recently started helping another volunteer do the entry work for the pictures he is taking in Pittsburgh cemeteries. We are presently working on Calvary Catholic Cem (on Hazelwood). Unfortunately, due to some of the angles of the pictures taken, I cant always read the stone. If I have entered your relative's information incorrectly, I will and can make changes, or I will be happy to transfer your relative to you, as long as they are not related to me. (thru the edit button, not in messages please!)Messages requesting transfers sent here will not be responded to ...please use the edit button!

I have sent some documents to your regular e-mail address, indicating Sarah may be located at a different cemetery.
Thank you for transferring all of the requested memorials; it's greatly appreciated.

I left a message last week asking if you would be so kind as to transfer my family memorials to me(parents, grandparents, aunts, and uncles) but have not received a reply. I would appreciate it.

Hi, if you're related to the Dugo family members I photographed in Northwood, please let me know, and I can transfer them to you. I'm not related. Thanks!

Of course - always happy to return loved ones to loved ones! All transferred over!
I saw your memorial for Richard Guzy, his wife was my wifes Grand mother, so if you would like to link her (Joy Marie Guzy) as his spouse her memorial number is 11570754. Thank you.

Caryn for the information via edits on Donald & Louise.Ebert.I've had a bunch of memorials transferred to me recently & hadn't had a chance to do the research on them yet...
Happy Thanksgiving to you & yours,

Hello Caryn Dugo. I can't get anymore grave locations for the Lake View cemetery (they have a fee for more than 5 requests and I have exceeded that number). If you would call the cemetery for the locations of any graves you would like to have pictures of and put that information with the photo requests, I would be happy to take the pictures for Find A Grave. The cemetery office will close around Nov 1, but the cemetery will be open until the snow gets to deep for access. The phone number is on the Lake View page.
