Hannah Bodine and Israel Morris
Dear Gail,

I believe we have common ancestors in Hannah and Israel (and James Bodine and Mary Polly Rose beyond that). If I have done my family tree correctly, Hannah and Israel are my 5x great grandparents. My grandfather was William Warren Woods, from Boone IN.

Glenn E. Lyons

I apologize if we have corresponded before but a computer crash destroyed a portion of my correspondence files.

I am writing the history of Glenn E. Lyons' unit during World War II and would welcome the opportunity to correspond with anyone who can add to my body of knowledge regarding this person and the events of his life. Of special interest is family correspondence 1940-1942, photographs while in the U.S., on board the Army transport Willard Holbrook or from Clark Field, Luzon, PI. Any assistance you can give would be greatly appreciated.

RE: Turney
Just est & trf s/o Matt Turney to you, Early #136893652. Note yob is 1869 vice 1868. Took this photo at 3 different times & this was best of the lot. Problem with sun which is off to the right. Daylight hrs are so short now that even late in afternoon there is a bad shadow on the boy's stone. Hope this meets your approval. Have a great day.

Preston Green Morris

The elder Preston was married twice (as far as I am aware) the mother of his children is Adaliza Miller. He was also married to a woman named Salina who had been married previously.

He has a grandson through his son Clarence Lee (uncle of my great grandfather Clarence Lee) named Preston as well. The younger Preston was married to a Catherine Maria.

Morris Maurice Morris
Hi Cousin,

I am the direct descendent of Morris Maurice Morris through his son Preston Green and his Grandson Nathaniel Miller, and his great grandson Clarence 'Lee' (who was my great grandfather). Through his son Melvan who was my grandfather and Marty my mom. I was born Morris (long story) but adopted by step-father. I was raised by my granddad Melvan 'Red' Morris and his wife Gladys. My grandmother is 98 (Melvan's wife) grew up with the Morris family and remembers some of the members like Millie (and of course her in-laws Nettie and Lee) quite well.

Have you gotten a copy of the Morris book from Anne Morris Mertz. Have you read it? Any opinions?
