Hello, and thank you so much for reading my bio page. I'm a retired USN officer, a native Los Angeleno and, like many of the fans of this site, love to visit and explore cemeteries and mausoleums. I've been to every major cemetery in the greater L.A. area, and have visited the graves of a number of old time Hollywood celebrities. My favorite necropli are veterans cemeteries, along with the tiny, off-the-beaten-path "boneyards" full of everyday folks like you and me. My favorite memorial park is Riverside National Cemetery, where my dad is buried. (In fact, the vast majority of my interments are Dad's "neighbors" whose plots are in the same section as his.)
I am a survivor of the September 11, 2001 attack on the Pentagon, and I truly consider it to be my life's work to ensure that that day never be forgotten. PLEASE remember that, regardless of your political views or personal philosophy, freedom is NOT free, and must be protected by the strength, and yes, even the blood of those who serve.

Saw your note about Kobayashi. I agree with U. My relative shot him down. He was what we call in 2013 a terrorist looking out for an unjust gang of gangsters at the time. Nothing redeeming about it. I dislike the youngsters who pretend to understand the past. | | | Angelbabe_E

I was on Find A Grave a few weeks ago with my dad and we went to your page and clicked on your picture. He commented on you participating in Rolling Thunder. See, my uncle goes every year with his "motorcycle gang". My uncle is a Vietnam Vet.

Thank you for this memorial. Do know which division your father served with during the Korean Conflict. Have you considered listing him as Sgt. or Lt. Cmd on the memorial.
If you make it to Rolling Thunder this next year 2013, I would enjoy meeting with you. I try to go every year but have missed a few due to family needs.
