I was born and raised in Louisiana, Pike County, Missouri where some of both sides of my family has lived since before 1900. Most of my families ancestors are from Pike and Calhoun Counties in Illinois and Ozark County in Missouri. My wife Patti Clayton Campbell's family is mostly from Virginia and lived in and around Norfolk. Born in Richmond, a Navy daughter, she was raised here and there but considers Fairfax City, VA home. Our research interests include Campbell, Emerick, Turnbaugh, Sisson, Shinn, Small, Staggs, and Crusman in my line and Clayton, Farrow, Stone, Lee, and Capps in her line.|

Hello, nice to here from you. I made the connection with Benjamin Jr. and wife.
Now for Benjamin Sr.. I made a quick search to get an idea of where his first wives could be buried in Missouri. I don't believe them to be here in Missouri. He was in Amherst Va. until 1850's, married Elvira in Indiana 1856 and in Pike Co., Missouri 1860. They are either buried in Virginia or on way to, or in Indiana. That would be my guess. I did notice that Ancestry has Benjamin Brown Bibb as marrying Mary Mitchell in 1836 Pike Co., Missouri. I'm assuming that info is wrong or different Benjamin Bibb.? If you've found different info to indicate that they are buried in Missouri. Get back with me and I'd be glad to see if I can find them for you.
Don't remember if I had told you that I finally got in touch with whom owns the land of the cem. you mentioned Mike Traynor taking you to. I did add the photo's to Find a grave. Mike had moved to Kentucky, but back now. He's living outside Silex now, still, I think. They've had their home for sale. I've talked with them a couple times at the church fish fry. Talk with you later, Susan
|Tammy M.||RE: John Turnbaugh|
I searched thoroughly for him but couldn't find a grave. I will try and find out who keeps the cemetery records and see if I can find out anything.
Right now we're having some wicked weather, so it may be a while before I can get it done but I will work on it. :)

|Ace||Reminder for Laurence Clayton|
Can you please call the cemetery and obtain the grave location (Section & Lot numbers) and ask them whether or not there is a grave marker?
Forest Home Cemetery: 708-366-1900 or 773-287-0772
This cemetery will not assist photo volunteers with finding the grave's location and the Find A Grave FAQs (Help File) states it is the photo requestors job to provide this information.
Thank you! Ace

Hi! In regards to your photo request, can you please call the cemetery and obtain the grave location (Section & Lot numbers) and ask them whether or not there is a grave marker? Please post this information to the memorial or send it to me.
Forest Home Cemetery: 708-366-1900 or 773-287-0772
Forest Home is a huge cemetery with well over 70,000 burials, and the information is needed in order to find someone there and take a photo of a grave. I go here regularly, and since August I have found over 200 graves at Forest Home that had the location information provided. Thank you! Ace

|CA Burns||RE: Gage memorials need to be linked|
I linked Edwin and Katherine's memorials together but am unable to link Robert Gage to his parents because I did not create his memorial. It has to be done by the person that created his memorial.

|Mark Maxwell||RE: Regarding Mary Brock White Travis|
Sorry, but her entry is one of many I made from available sources of the Pike County Genealogical Society when I started mapping cemeteries in Pike and Chariton Counties, MO. If you have an interest in any of my Missouri entries let me know. To my knowledge I do not have any family and only a few friends in Missouri.
|Jackie ||RE: Ralph Sisson|
I am happy to transfer him to you. This will be my first transfer so please be patient as I figure out how to transfer. :)

|Jackie ||Sissons in Riverview Cemetery|
I also found gravestones for Infant Daughter of Charles and Wanda and Ralph T. Sisson near the headstone of Charles. I have added them to the Riverview Cemetery in Pike County MO.

|Janet LaMotte||RE: Sisson family in Rose Hill|
The two Sisson's of interest are William Sisson and Lawson, both of whom I found on early census records for Pike Co (or nearby). Lawson's ancestors originally came from VA and some of the clan moved to KY before coming to MO. Hope you turn up some good stuff on your research trip. I'm hoping to go to SW PA and Ohio this summer or fall to do some research if the airline travel is dependable.
