Having been a beta tester for the new EDIT system, it's great so far! Yes, there are concerns and comments but overall, those who have been using it have found this new system to be fast, efficient and a much better way to complete updates than the former email system. Am able to handle dozens of updates in a matter of minutes now instead of hours.|
Hunting down Gerberichs & all variants of the spelling. Burials with the sheaf of wheat logo in the flower section are descendants of Hans Gerberich from Altfeld, now in Germany, the surname translating to "rich in sheaths". (Still have thousands to find and add!)
I now strictly adhere to the Find A Grave guidelines regarding transfers. No exceptions. Requests made that fall outside of the guidelines, or do not state relationship, are no longer being acknowledged. Virtual cemeteries are the way to "gather" your ancestors together.
Please don't justify an out-of-guideline transfer request for the sake of adding links and/or other information. Am perfectly capable of doing this, especially now with the new EDIT system - much quicker than transferring.
Copy-and-paste census, military and other data is not a "bio". Don't bother sending it because it will not be added.
Finally, I will NOT add a link to a burial unknown memorial. This site is named Find a GRAVE for a reason. Not a difficult concept.

|TFickett||Ann Mary Sierra|
When I was adding a picture request for Ann Mary Sierra, Find a grave # 48965138, I noticed that you have her husband incorrectly listed based on the grave stones.
Her husband is Charles P Sierra Find a grave #50312534 (not Charles H Siepiela #49668332). They are buried together at the Florida National Cemetery.
Let me know if you have any questions.

Fergus William Bottomley is my gr. Uncle. I would like to maintain his Find a Grave.
You are the rudest person on here and do nothing but collect death notices. I have asked you not once but four times to transfer my uncle to me because all you have is a death notice with no information at all, not even birthdates or death dates just years which you found somewhere, My uncles wife is still alive, my cousins , his sons and daughter are still alive and you know nothing about his life , how he lived nor how he died, yet you refuse to transfer my own blood realitive. what kind of person are you? A death notice reporter? My uncle is my blood not yours, I had to request the grave picture but I will be dammed if I will add to you flimsy death notice my uncles picture, As a matter of fact if you don't transfer it to me, I am going to make a second page on him, then write to findagrave and have them delete yours all together. You are one selfish ignorant person.

|J. Edward Ross||Re: Edit request for Charles Bleistine memorial|
Your change request for the Charles H Bleistine Sr (66855795) memorial page asked to add middle name (Henry) and delete the nickname (Bud).
Before I respond to the request, I recently added his obituary which includes the nicname "Bud." Is there still a reason to remove the nickname?
Please let me know either way, so I can process the request.
Hope you had a great Thanksgiving holiday.
New guidelines make no sense what so ever. Nothing wrong with the way it was. Not your fault, but thank you for this post. I'm in the mood to "delete" everyone of mine. Thank you, Jane

Thank you for you input Gerbilady, I will try harder to meet your standards and follow the Find A Grave guidelines.
Is there a way for you to connect Jeannine F Boisvert to Joseph Georges Duplessis and Marie Jeanne Duplessis interred in Connecticut? Jeannine is their daughter. Jeannine was my sister-in-law, thanks.

Could you transfer this to me. Robert Ridgewell is my father.
I believe I already asked for her husband, Joe. Would you please transfer my cousin 51059431
to me (#47397977)
