Going forward, unless there is a compelling reason, I will only transfer listings of people someone knew closely, i.e. parent, child or close friend. I'm sorry, but someone who died 200 years ago could be related to thousands of people. I prefer you add one of my listings under your umbrella using the virtual cemetery feature at Find A Grave. If you have additional information, I will happily add it and list you as the contributor.
Also, please do not ask me add an obituary to a person's memorial. see Find A Grave policy below:
Can I add an obituary to my interment listing?
It is best to not copy obituary notices from newspapers to an individual's memorial record unless you have permission from the newspaper to do so. In general, obituaries in newspapers are submitted by the family. If the obituary is added to the memorial record, it should list the newspaper and date the obit was printed. Find A Grave reserves the right to remove obituary notices from memorial records.
Obituaries for "famous" individuals are usually written by newspaper staff and can not be posted to Find A Grave.
Please do not include website addresses that may be listed in the obituary as they usually expire within a year after the obituary is printed.

yes now that you say that, I saw that. I wonder why I e-mailed you. People who want to do geneology research should do it when they're YOUNG with young memories.

The baby boy site that you created is 9201005. I created the Helen Parlin (Patterson)site (89200984)and linked it to the Raymond Elwyn site.
I was originally thought Elwyn's middle name was Charles and posted it that way on ancestry.com. But I found his name to be Elwyn Clark when reading his cousin's book "The Parlin Geneology" Every where else I find his name it is simply Elwyn C. Further evidence is that Raymond Elwyn Parlin, Elwyn's son from his second marriage named his son--Elwyn's grandson--Elwyn Clark. So I concluded I had been mistakenly propagating the name Elwyn Charles.
So my question would be where did you find the information you posted on the 9201005 site?
granddaughter of Elwyn Clark Parlin and Luceille Madeleine Slee Parlin

Are you related to Helen Patterson? My grandfather was her husband. He married again 3 years after she died and named his first son by that 2nd marriage Raymond Elwyn and his first daughter, Helen Joyce.
I never knew he named the baby boy that died, Raymond Elwyn. Where did you get that information?

Thank you so much for modifying Joris' memorial—and so quickly! Be blessed!
|Debbie S.||Joris "George" Myers|
Hi Rich--I was wondering if you'd be willing modify the name for my 5th great-grandfather in your record. His given name was Joris Myers, but his Angelicised name "George" appears on his headstone. Here is my documentation on Joris: http://trees.ancestry.com/tree/17109924/person/18033868733
|Lauren||incorrect spelling of last name|
My grandmother's maiden name is spelled incorrectly on your page (Find A Grave Memorial# 8900910). She's in George Washington in Paramus, NJ. You have her maiden name spelled "valentine" but its actually "Valentien". It won't let me change it since it says you created it.
Its an honest mistake
