Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have always been fascinated with history, both the history of my family and history in general. As a child, I loved to hear my grandmother and her brother and sisters talk about their Grandpa Beachum who was a Confederate soldier, and their great great Grandfather King, who was a Soldier in the Revolution. Their stories made these long dead people live again for me.

To me, Find A Grave is not only a wonderful resource for historical research, but also a personal way of remembering loved ones... both loved ones we've known, and loved ones from the long past.

Greetings Sir, I am a descendant of Joseph Jr Starnes. I wanted to let you know I added a photograph to Joseph Sr's memorial 26800879. If you don't approve I will remove it.

Susannah McGee Mendenhall

John,

I can't be sure of her birthdate at this time since it was so long ago that I was at the cemetery and that I took the picture. And since the picture isn't too clear from here----all I can see of that date is that it "looks" like 1760 for the year. But unless I saw the tombstone close up again---I'm not 100% sure what it says.

You know I'll be happy to transfer Susannah and any of her (and your) relatives to you if you would like. Just let me know who you would like to have.

I found his burial in a list of US veterans. i do not have any personal knowledge of him. Try doing a photo request but first call the cemetery office at 404-755-6611 and request the section and lot numbers. Let me know and I will add it to the memorial. There are a couple of willing photo volunteers for that cemetery. Put a note on the request asking if his wife is buried with him.

My great grandfather Patrick Donohue immigrated from County Galway along with my grandfather in 1909. For some reason my grandfather changed the spelling to Donahue. As far as I know all of my Donohue's are still in the Philadelphia/South New Jersey area.

RE: Moses Chappell Heath, Find A Grave # 35267083
I will be truthful - I am not very familiar with the Heath Line. My mom's great-aunt was a Heath - she was married to O.P. Heath mentioned in this article: http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~sclancas/records/bios/bio_heathfamily.htm That is really about all I know about the Heaths (researching my Potts family).

The Threatts are also a group I don't know a lot about first-hand. My distant branch seems to have been fairly poor and pursued farming.
