RE: John A. Remick & Charles H. Oakes
Glad to help. Charles Oakes sort of fascinated me. Not only was the 15th Mass in Gibbon's Division at Gettysburg with the 1st Minnesota, but I had researched the son(David) of the OTHER Charles Oakes at Oakland for is service in the 5th MN at Farmington. Regards.

RE: George Washington Davis
I realized when I was adding the photo for George Washington Davis and doing a little research that the book I have of Townsend Vital Records indicated that George's wife Sarah and one daughter were also in the lot with him. My husband and I went back to take photos. I've asked James Bianco for a couple of more edits to more fully explain. George's wife Sarah was also married to Francis D. Adams who you were also working on. I added what I found about him to James' edits. Also a photo. Sarah's son Frank Warren Spaulding is buried in the lot with her 3rd husband Francis Adams. Glad I could help!

RE: James Leonard King
You're welcome. I have more photos to submit to the other family members.
Did you notice there are a couple of more photos that don't show on the main page of his memorial? You have to scroll to the bottom and click on "2 more photos..." Of course you probably already know that.
The King stone is in the shade, under many trees from the abutting property, but maybe I can check it out in early winter, see if I can get a clearer photo.

RE: Albion Adams
I'll keep an eye out for him. Lately when I stop by Green Cemetery I have been making a point to check out Civil War markers to make sure they have memorials and photos, so if he has one I may run across it.

Green Cemetery records can be viewed here...

They are pretty good about having all the old markers listed including colonial times markers, so that is why I was thinking if he isn't listed, then he may not be there.

The other thought is he may be in the other Carlisle cemetery. Likely all military markers ordered would have been delivered to Green even if they were to be installed in the other cemetery. If I get a chance I will try and stop by that one this week and take a look.

Carl Mauritz Lindfors Find A Grave Memorial# 110091413

Thank you for putting up the information about Carl Mauritz Lindfors. I was wondering if you have some documentation that he was buried in The Old Swedish cemetery? Me and My family are relatives of him and we are trying to locate the grave.
Do you have any info on how to find the grave that you can share? We would be very grateful.
Best regards

RE: Benjamin Franklin Clark
His wife Annie and two daughters are buried on the same lot. The wife's information should be edited in a day or two. I've sent the edits to connect the two daughters. That contributor doesn't update her entries so it will take 21 days for that information to be included.

you go and look at his memorial page you will see that the cemetery has him buried there.

I had entered a photo request for this man, and the photographer replied, "I found the stones for his wives; Adaline D. 1882 and Delia A D. 1891 which I've posted but no Reuben."
Do you have any idea why that might be?
Actually, if there is some proof that he is really in this cemetery and there is no headstone, he probably has a right to a new military headstone. The local V.F.W. or S.U.V. might be of help on this issue.
In any case, I hope you'll be able to confirm that he really is here.

RE: George Butler
You are very welcome. It was sad to see his stone broken like that and propped up against the family memorial. I believe I took photos all around the stone monument and one half buried if you have interest in more of the Butlers. Please advise.
