I have been researching my family history since 1995. I love this stuff. It is super exciting to uncover a nugget of information that you didn't know about before.|
I live in the Detroit area and in my spare time (hehe) travel to some cemeteries where I have ancestors. On those occasions I try to be prepared to take pictures of some graves of interest, but it is most helpful if you have plot information and even a map, as most of my trips happen on weekends when offices are closed. Any of the pictures or other information that I have posted to findagrave.com can be used by anyone for whatever NON-PROFIT purpose they would like. NO PHOTOS OR INFORMATION MAY BE USED FOR PROFIT PURPOSE. I would appreciate recognition for any information or photos you do use, and if possible, a link or copy of the work.
I am working on documenting and photographing all of the Veteran's stones at Roseland Park Cemetery in Berkley, MI.
I am focusing my current research on the Lintz lineage. I would appreciate ANY and ALL Lintz memorials that you wouldn't mind transferring to me so I can work on a complete lineage. There are many assumptions that all Lintz's in the US are related. I'd like to prove/disprove this. It will also be useful for a 2nd edition book project I'd like to work on.

|MI Ring||Six "Gomer" graves in the Siple Cemetery|
Gomer should be Comer. John Comer is my 3rd great-grandfather through his son, Samuel. My maiden name is Comer. He and his wife, Martha (Mother), had nine children -- Melissa, Silvina, Eliza, Emma, Levi, Ira, Minnie, Samuel, and Lydia.
All except Silvina (d 1858) appear on the 1871 Census of Canada -- Norwich North, Oxford South, Ontario -- with their parents.
Six of the family members -- Ira, Martha (Mother), Minnie, Samuel, Liddie, and Eliza -- appear on the 1880 US Census in Koylton, Tuscola, Michigan. Levi was a resident at the Eastern Michigan Asylum for the Insane in 1880.
Thanks for all the work you do! It is appreciated.

Thank You so much for the correction - Now it makes sense as it matches the monument photos for her husband James. I see Samuel is also a son so I've sent an update request to Find A Grave since Amy is inactive. Find A Grave has been very good in updating for inactive members. So glad I got some photos for you. I read your profile, and if I come across any Lintz', I'll transfer to you and take photos - Best of Success with your Research !

I have been over this cemetery and can find no evidence of several people you have listed as buried here. I cannot find Gottfred and Gustina Vogt, nor Vera Ferris. Do you have further information on these people? Will you share your source for this?
Did you mean birth year should be changed?? (Your request said death year.)

Thank you for the additional information it has been added.
I want to thank you so kindly for making pages for my relatives Elnora Graham and Oliver Graham. You have done justice by them.
I was wondering if it was at all possible if you could transfer management of them to me, they are my great great grandparents of my great grandmother Prudence Emaline Graham Adams. Thank you so kindly in advance for all you have done and continue to do for those who have passed on.

I'm afraid I don't agree with your sugested corrections.
Sarah my great grandmother died at her home in Brown City, Sanilac County. She didnot die in Almont, Lapeer County. Her daughter Matilda Anne Powell did June 9, 1919. Maybe that's where the confusion is.
Thomas Brown is my great-grandfather his son Delbert was my grandfather. From the information and sources I have collected I beleive the date on Thomas's headstone is correct. According to England Births and Christings 1538 - 1975 Thomas was baptize on 5 Jul 1840. Thomas came to this country before his wife Sarah he arrived in 1871 or 1872 Sarah arrive later with their three children.
