|I am doing my family genealogy, and I wanted a headstone picture of a past relative killed, by friendly fire, during the civil war.|
My interest grew, and now I take pictures and create memorials myself.
I've now been a graver for more than three years, and I enjoy it as much now as I did when I started. I truly enjoy getting those photo's for other's who could not, because I now know first hand how it feels to finally have a much wanted photo of that loved one lost.
If you'd like a transfer of a memorial I've created, just ask. If it's my family, it may be difficult but not impossible.
I send a personal thankyou to all of my fellow gravers. Keep up the good work.

Thank you for taking the time to reply.
I found the full slab of names and tried to send you another message to let you know. Sorry for the error.
I'm trying to figure out how Matilda fits in with the family and the Fishers too.

First I want to thank you for posting the photo of the headstone for Mary E and Anthony. The photo is cropped to their names. I'd like to know if you have a full view of the photo and would be willing to share it with me?
Is it a Doerr headstone with their listing? Who are the others on the headstone?

You're welcome. Are you related?
That's good enough for me, thanks! I wasn't sure if there was more information to gain, so I hit the request button.
You can claim it and mark closed.

I'm glad I'm not annoying you with edits and linking to memorials.
I usually try to back up my info by stating where/how I got the information.
So many times since I started researching my family line and became a member of Find A Grave I have wished to make the trip to Tuscola Co.
I think I have a relative of some sort in every cemetery in the Caro area and even some in Lapeer Co.
I just don't have reliable transportation to visit even though I only live a couple hundred miles away.
So your help, and that of others in the area, with getting marker photos & making memorials makes a big difference to me and probably many others.

|sec412 ||Thank you|
Just came inside after helping my son with yard work and I see you linked Pearl to Wm. H. H. Wells.
Wanted to say thank you!!
2 wives linked & 2 more to link.
I have edit messages out for the other 2 and know I could do the linking. I just prefer to check with the person who made the memorials first to make sure they don't object.
(Too bad we aren't related since we share the same surname.)
