Thank you for alerting me. It seems an injustice has been done. The cemetery does exists because I created the listing and posted two memorials that are now missing. I will follow up with you later.
|Mike Henderson||Re: Donald McTaggart|
I believe I have found Donald McTaggart in Cottonwood Cemetery, Muldrow, Sequoyah County, Oklahoma. His memorial number is 84907567 and his wife Betty is 84907554. Names & dates all match up with what I have . Betty was from Oklahoma, why he is listed in the other cemetery is beyond me. Looks like just a mistake. Just thought you would like to know in case you want to fix the wrong one or figure out why.
Thank for your help

Thanks, Sandra!...I'll have to check out those links to Chalk Bluff. There's really no telling and, who knows, I might learn something else that I didn't know...
Oddly, I stopped at White Rock in March with the family...we were returning from Austin. I had contacted Eddy a while back to have my markers located and he was a great help. I told him that I really wanted to plant a tree...so it could grow and grow like those in the middle and back...Eddy said that it was okay as long as he located it. I mentioned to my wife that day as we drove in under the arch that I needed to give him a call soon about that...Then I noticed a grave with fresh flowers - probably from that morning near the back of the cememtery. On our way out that day I circled back to see the marker that had bee placed...You know who - Eddy Philips. So ironic...come to find out, I won't be giving him a call after all. I know that they were looking for someone to replace him, but I don't know if they've been identified yet. He and my grandad's brother "Boots" did such a great job out there...
Keep in touch!
|Scott McMillan||Elm Mott Cemetery|
Hi, Sandra! Remember me? I've been working hard on my ancestry again for the last 5-6 months...I've discovered so many things but, as you know, the work is never quite done. I have a question about this Cemetery in Elm Mott...As you know, most of my known ancestry is from Elm Mott but they are buried in Ross at White Rock. I have uncovered several really old death certificates that indicate "Elm Mott Cemetery" as their place of final rest. Do you know much about this cemetery? It seems very small...Obviously, my goal is to locate them and their headstones (if there is one) but I just don't know how to go about doing it. Any thoughts?
Thanks - Scott

Thought you might like to see the biographical sketch I added on him today. They were early settlers of McLennan County, TX.

No permanent markers have been placed for Jeffrey & Sandra McMahon in Morton Cemetery. If you get word of any being placed in the future let me know and I will be happy to go back out there and get the photos for you.
