Family research has been a part of my life for over 30 years. I do volunteer work at the LDS Family History Center located in my neighborhood even though I am not Mormon. I call myself the gentile librarian. I live on the west side of Houston in Katy. I was born in Waco, Texas and go there every few months to be with family. Many of my family members are buried in the Robinson Cemetery south of Waco going back to my great-great-grandmother. Growing up in Robinson, a farming community at the time, was a wonderful experience.
At the age of fifteen my parents and I moved to Texarkana, Texas. I completed high school and junior college in Texarkana. While attending UT my parents moved back to Robinson. I did six months of active duty in the Marine Corps and five and a half years in the reserve program. After completing the six months active duty, I move to Houston, TX to seek my fortune. I would have to say my wife, children and grandchildren are my fortune. I am happily married and retired and have eight grandchildren which add joy to my life. If you think I can help you feel free to contact me.
If you have any corrections or additions to a memorial, please let me know. If you would like for me to transfer a memorial, please let me know.

 | Wichmann/Wichman/Wickman Hi there! I'm so thrilled with all the information that you sent me concerning this family! Are you descended from this family? My great-great-great-grandmother married Henry Wichmann in the latter 1850's, but I'm descended from her first husband, Johann Cristoph Mühlenweg. I would love to transfer these over to you if you are related; I had largely thought the line to have passed away, so I'm thrilled that someone is working on them. I believe that I've updated all the records that you've asked me to, and fixed all the links that I have. Thank you again, so much - let me know if I can be of assistance on any other memorials! Yours, Charleen | | | Vera Gibson Johnson

 | Francis Edgar Stanley Prowling around Find A Grave doing some research for work, I discovered that Francis Edgar Stanley is linked up to LTC William Fairfax Gray (Memorial #15123170) as a child of his and Milly R. Gray. I noticed that you maintain the listing for Colonel Gray and was hoping you could explain how a 'calculated relationship' link worked and if it might be changed?
Francis Edgar Stanley is the brother of Freelan Oscar Stanley, manufacturers of the Stanley Steam Cars and sons of Solomon and Apphia Stanley in Kingfield, Maine.
I would send a message to the person who maintains F.E Stanley's grave, but it would seem Find A Grave is maintaining that memorial.....
Thank You for your time,

 | Regarding Edward Isselhardt Mem# 35255611, Edward Isselhardt. Thank you so much for taking the time to find his grave marker in Robinson Cem. I thought one of my relatives went to Texas, and sure enough he did. I appreciate your kindness in taking the photo!
Do you mind if I use it on my tree on Ancestry, once I get this side going?
Again - thank you! MelindaAdded by Melinda on May 25, 2013 8:17 AM | | | Thomas McNeely
