I have been receiving in excess of 30 e-mails a day, so if I do not get back to you in a timely manner, please have a little patience. Thank you!|
...Once upon a time I walked across this hard, cold earth, and when I reached the end of my journey I looked back and beheld that the winds of time had erased all signs that I was ever here. But if you look closely, you will see an indentation here and a groove there, and if we are both very lucky you will find a foot print. And if you will look and find the signs of my passing, and remember me for a day or a season, I will be grateful.

|Mary Briggs||Austin family #142538141|
Hi Kurt, I'm an Austin. Horace Austin #82046712 is my Great Grandfather. I was new to Find A Grave in 2011 when I placed memorials there for my Maine family. All I had every heard the cemetery where they were buried called was The Protestant Cemetery. Being at the Congregational Church I erroneously named it Fort Kent Protestant Church Yard. Frank & Delia Austin are my grandparents. Cash & Roberta are my uncle & aunt. John Austin is my great uncle. Forest is my cousin. I was hoping someone from the Fort Kent Area would point out my error and at some point in time I would get my family moved into the correct cemetery. I just got back from Maine and have taken new pictures. I'm going to place them on both our sites so the information won't be lost. Thank you so much for placing all the burials at the church on Find A Grave. Mary (Austin) Briggs

|Darryl Whitmore||Gerald Linn #71319263|
Hi, fyi we were at West Serena cemetery today and tried to fulfill a photo request for Gerald Linn (1952-2011), memorial #71319263. We walked the entire cemetery and did not locate his marker. We did locate Gerald Linn (1931-1983). I reported this to the person who submitted the photo request, and suggested he contact you for more info on the memorial.
|Cheryl Kemp Taber||Adolphus Lamay|
Adolphus Lemay's death register is on Seeking Michigan:
You have his incorrect birth year.
|Jane Sommer||Edward James McMullin #95292328|
Please delete your memorial for Edward James McMullin because I have the correct name for his memorial and it is in Woodland Cemetery for him from burial records - you have it made as burial unknown.
|Bill Houk||Pine Grove Cemetery Photo Request...|
Hi Kurt, I live nearby the Pine Grove Cemetery in Fryeberg, ME… and now that I’m armed with a cemetery “section” map, I’m planning a trip to try to fullfill several of the FindAGrave photo requests…
You have a request for Clarence Amazeen… you wouldn’t happen to know what section he's buried in, would you? It’s a big cemetery, and it would improve my chances if you have some more information to share…. ;-)
|Ruth||Norman B Brown|
Norman B Brown has a memorial at Mt Hope in Seneca, but also has a memorial at Mt Hope Cemetery in Champaign with his wife. Do you know for sure which one is correct? We have no obit for him.

|Boyd R. Pendleton||John White Nunn Burial Place|
John White Nunn & His Son Wayne John Nunn Is Buried In The Campbell Cemetery Little Sycamore Rd. Claiborne County Not Tazewell With John Parents Lawrence & Alta Nunn. Because I Went To The Cemetery & Took All Of Their Tombstone Photo & Put Them On Their Memorial. Thank You Boyd P.
My colleague Peggy Eichner has just finished Mountain Lake Cemetery and found several of your unknown burial listings. She says her edits go though quickly but she hasn't seen you change the graves themselves to Mt Lake. I think she will contact you a second time, perhaps by putting in edits using the plot link to give the cemetery name. If you spot those edits, it would cue you to move the pages. Thanks.
