Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hello fellow find-a-gravers,

Just found this wonderful artist and his touching rendition of Lord I need You! If you have a minute and a decent internet connection...

Now back to findagrave business...

To request transfer, please do not post your request here in the comments section. I ask that all transfer requests be made through the official "suggest a correction" mechanism. Just go to the memorial, click "edit", then click the last option which lets you send a free form request. That sends me a link to the memorial, which helps ensure I process the correct one, and also sends me your member number so I don't have to go look it up. This saves me two or three steps, and helps me be accurate.

Excluding my own kin and special memorials, all of my memorials are up for grabs. If you are kin, you should have them imo. If no kin comes forward, then anyone who has a connection. Maybe you live next to the cemetery? Maybe you went to school with him/her? Maybe I have one of your old co-workers. You get it :) Just ask!

If you are also adopting out your memorials, I would happily adopt any of my family surnames in the United States: Claussen, Crawford, Fox, Pennington, Petersen; and in Germany: Claussen.

Thanks, and may God bless you immensely today!

This is the day the Lord hath made. I will rejoice and be glad in it! (and not spend the whole day working on findagrave! LOL )

RE: Lieutenant Ralph F.Hansman
Anyway thanks a lot for your answer...
I just received a message from Mr.Millner - he informed me that he was sending my email to a US Army office that may be able to help me.

All the best.

Lieutenant Ralph F.Hansman
Dear Deb,
I'm wrighting You from Russia (Mamonovo, Kaliningrad region). About one year ago it was found American serviceman's dog tag in this region (serviceman's name Ralph F.Hansman ).
Now we know where and how he was killed (in Italy,Terni). Many thanks for it to Mr.R.Millner DPAA-East.
We (Members of Mamonovo Historical and Geographical society) are going to organize in Mamono Musem something like a small exhibition (exposition) dedicated American Lieutenant Hansman.
That's why it's very important for us to have a little bit more personal Lt.Hansman's information (Place of birth, parents, family and so on).
And as well may be You have his picture in much more good quality.
Thank you very much in advance.
Yours truly.
Konstantin K.
P.S. Tomorrow I'll add a picture of Lt.Hansman dog tag.

Deb, Just wanted to let you know I have found his family. It was really that hard to do. Thanks so much for transferring him to me. I am very pleased he is with his family again.

Benjamin Franklin Elliff # 18714747

At one time you tried taking a picture of the marker for Benjamin, but there was no stone found. Is it possible that he is buried at Mt Olive and is it possible that you live close by and could try and find his marker. His d/c does say Crandall, but a cousin told me that state records indicate that he was buried at Mt Olive.
His wife's name was Delitha. Thank you so very much.

Is Mt Olive a large cemetery that I could call?

George Chattin
I noticed that on your Find a Grave Memorial Page you listed the death certificate number for George Chattin.

Is it possible to get a copy of that. I'm working on a DAR application for a friend.
