|Theodore Spear||Death Date of William Conover|
Mimi, can you take a second look at the death date in the tombstone photograph of William Conover, Find A Grave Memorial number 36966810. Doesn't it say died January 26, 1836 and not 1856? It says he was 55; it looks to me like it reads, age 33 not 55.
The reason I'm asking this is because I have spent a lot years looking for Elizabeth (Conover) Osmun, who died September 4 or 5, 1892, age 83, born 1809. These dates match the dates for Elizabeth (Eckel) Conover, Find A Grave memorial 36883153.
The trouble is the marriage of John Osmun to Elizabeth Conover took place on December 17, 1846. I believe she was widowed, but everyone seems to interpret the inscription on William Conover's tombstone that he died in 1856. Ten years after his wife married John Osmun. I think William Conover died in 1836, ten years before his wife re-married John Osmun in 1846.
If I've confused you, please reply to my Find A Grave account or email me directly at firstname.lastname@example.org

I attempted to fulfill your request for Walker. After checking the cemetery's online records, and the "Tombfinder" app., and not finding any records of him, I called the cemetery office. They told me their records show he was cremated there, but has no property listed for him, meaning his ashes went elsewhere.
Sorry we couldn't find him!

NJ, Deaths and Burials Index 1798-1971 lists Isaac J. Duckworth as having died at age 31 years old on 3, Nov, 1875, so you can check it out and ad his death date to his memorial. Thanx,Sharon

Where can I find a plot map of the Milford Union Cemetery in Milford, NJ? I'm looking for
Plot Block 1-A Plot 33-B.
Thank you very much!
My Great Grandparents are interred at Montana Cemetery, Hiram, Peter, Charles Bartley, Sanford. My Great Grandfather Jacob is supposedly interred in St James Straw Church Lutheran Cemetery but it was noticed on find a grave that he was in Montana, do you have any proof of this information. I have tried to get into the NSDSAR, but they closed the line on Jacob because of his pension papers being rejected. Do you have any other info on this? I have a copy of the muster list from 1776 with Jacob's name on it as a part of the soldiers, I'm aware of the article in the 1969 DAR magazine which was written by the Peggy Warne Chapter. Any assistance you may be able to share is greatly appreciated.
