My name is Sally Anderson Goodson. I became interested in posting at Findagrave because of how generous others have been to me in my search for my Anderson roots. |
I leave a note on each family member's memorial page that is a little poem but the author is unknown. I was very fortunate to have a friend named Fran Bolton that gave me the poem to use. Thank you, Fran.
I also want to thank each Findagrave volunteer that goes out in the heat, the bugs, the cold, the whatever to take the pictures. I always say they are angels with cameras.

I believe we are related. Nancy Caroline Pitcock was my great-great grandmother. She married Alfred Carroll Williams, their daughter was Mary Jane Williams. Mary Jane Williams married John William Patterson who was my great-grandfather on my mothers side. Their son was Harry Cleveland Patterson, my grandfather.
If I remember correctly, Jacob B. Pitcock was Nancy Caroline Pitcocks brother, and you are from Jacob B. Pitcocks line.

May I please have permission to use your Find A Grave photo on my tree. Martin is great uncle to my husband Danny. This is good work that you do. Best regards Helen
|Carolyn Hebbe McLeod||Nancy Helen Bridwell Keating (#6668984)|
Nancy Helen Bridwell Keating (#6668984) was my husband's great-grandmother.
We saw that you had placed a death certificate on her memorial. We do not think it is appropriate for death certificates to be placed on memorials. How someone has passed on does not need to be shown on their memorial. All other information on the certificate has been placed on the memorial.
I maintain the memorial but cannot remove the death certificate. Since this is my husband's great-grandmother, he does not want the death certificate showing on her memorial. This is our second request (sent to you in emails with no response) asking you to please remove the death certificate from the memorial.
Your prompt attention in getting the death certificate removed from her memorial would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation in this matter.
|Susan Mccay||Re: Zachariah Gibson Hobbs|
Hello. I see you have a memorial for Zachariah C. Hobbs. His middle name was Gibson. The middle initial should be G. not C. There is another memorial also made for him in the same cemetery, Metcalf. But according to Grundy County Burial records and also your bio about him, he is buried in McCammon Cemetery.
Shouldn't his memorial be in McCammon Cemetery, which is about a mile away from Metcalf Cemetery in Trenton, Missouri.
At one time Zachariah Gibson Hobbs was married to my gg grandmother's sister, Mary Missouri Hobbs.
Thanks for looking into this.

Can you contact Grove Hill cemetery and get the burial location for your request: 214-381-7118
Your request will get filled with the location information. The cemetery does not like to cooperate with findagrave volunteers.

|TLH||Harold Lezar photo request|
Hello, a burial location is needed to fill your request. The cemetery won't give findagrave volunteers burial locations, but you could get one if you called on the phone at: 214 363 5401. OR
You could try to email them for the location via this link on their website:
make sure the tab is on OTHER for the type of inquiry you are sending.
Let me know the location and I will go out there next week and fill it for you or if you can edit the memorial to show the plot location, that would be fine as well.
