Unfortunately, I know nothing re the circumstances of his death. I photographed the entire cemetery and added memorials for each grave marker. You may want to contact Sandra Wright since she now manages the memorial. She requested a transfer and I presume she was related to or acquainted with him.

Burial location on his death certificate had Bethany, but that was struck out and something else is written below that. I can't make out what is written. Looks like it starts with a 'C'. I found two of his sons who were born in Georgia and they are buried in Gaston County, North Carolina.
