Hugh Francis Downey
Buried in Star of the Sea Cemetery with his father (Mathew Downey), sister (Sadie Downey Brogan), and brother-in-law (Eugene Brogan). Original record in St Mary's Cemetery, Salem for Star of Sea, Marblehead. These are only people listed on original card. Most likely his mother (Margaret Walsh Downey) is also buried there. It is a large plot surrounded by granite stone but has no standing marker. There is only a stepping stone set into the surrounding stone with 'M Downey' engraved on it. There may be other people in there but there is no record. I have a photo if you are interested and the GPS is 42.49243, -70.88476.

RE: Carol Jean Jensen Langer
The cemetery for that memorial is Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc County, Manitowoc, Wisconsin. I have also emailed this info to the memorial manager hoping it will be updated and corrected. Thanks for letting me know about that.

Thanks so much for the heads up. I did not have her parents or exact date of birth so that is great news to me. Keep up the good work.

Be safe,

Nareen, et al
Henry & Elizabeth Symonds in the Waterside Cemetery, Marblehead, MA
It is not possible that these are the same people.
According to Early Vital Records of Mass. 1600 - 1850 (Marblehead Deaths) under Symonds (bottom of the page)

"Elizabeth G., Aug. 13, 1826. GR6 (GR6 tells the cemetery in which she is buried)
Henry O., Jan. 18, 1826. GR6"

Since these records do not go past 1850, they would not list someone who died in the 1900's..........unless the record should be in the births instead of the deaths...but still how would they know in which cemetery they would be buried????
