I have always been facinated by cemeteries. I grew up across the street from a large cemetery in Hot Springs, Arkansas and would spend my summer afternoons wondering through the graves admiring the unique headstones. This love has followed me to adulthood as I travel with my job and prefer to pack a lunch and find a lovely cemetery to eat at and wander through than to eat in a restaurant. I just recently found Find A Grave when I began doing genealogy research. I was so touched to see that someone had been sweet and taken a photo of my baby girl's headstone and realized what a wonderful way to be productive when traveling Arkansas and enjoying my lunches and cemeteries.|
I give my permission for family members to use the pictures of headstones that I have taken. I keep all of my pictures and will be happy to provide a high resolution picture through email.

|George M. Akins||Juanita Beyerís memorial #49495267|
I would like to thank you for managing my mother, Juanita Beyerís memorial #49495267. My name is George M. Akins. My number with Findagrave is #47218769. I see that you also manage my mother-in-law, Alberta Harris #72962262 memorial. Iím curious to know if you knew my mother personally, possibly a WOTM friend. How did you have my motherís information and not know where she is buried? You have the obituary that my brother and I wrote and the photo you added is cropped out of a photo of Mom, Mel and his daughter Roe at Roe's installation to WOTM in April of 2002. I donít know if you are aware of it or not but another person has also done a memorial on mom as well, #18910433 in 2007. Her name is Pat Hall, but it shows that she is (inactive). She like so many others created hers from the photo of momís marker which is next to momís husband, Mel Beyer, and she did his too. I didn't know that there were two memorials on mom until I was adding relationships to my family, then all of a sudden when I was checking momís spouses to verify that they worked OK, that I noticed that 2 people had created memorials on mom. I would like ask you if you would be willing transfer management of momís memorial to me. I would also like know if you would let me manage my mother-in-law Alberta Harris #72962262 memorial?
|George M. Akins||Alberta Bairett Harris 72962262|
Would you consider giving me Alberta Bairett Harris 72962262 to maintain?
Just wondered where you purchased the obituary book for Pike & Clark counties. I noticed that you have posted clippings from it on some of the memorials (for instance Viola Barrett #6466260). I would like to have a copy. Thank you. CHB - contributor 47375564

|HSTRYN||Barbara Ellen Fruits Martin|
We have recently uncovered documentation that Barbara Ellen Fruits Martin is my husband's
GG grandmother. Her daughter (Dessie) is my husband's great-grandmother. I see that you previously maintained the FindAGrave for her.
Do you have any documentation to any of the information located on her FindAGrave entry? In particular, her burial location? I see the entry that she is in Mound Cemetery. Question is...Upper or Lower Mound? Lower Mound is usually referred to as Mound, but we are finding no record of her grave....unless we are just missing it.....
Thanks........Rita and Fred Pearman

Thank you so much for the headstone photos for John and Mamie Glover. It really helps me with my family genealogy research to know where my ancestors are buried. :-)
