Catlett's in Cogbill Cemetery
Brenda, Dr John Catlett is also my great great grandfather as he is Pam Catlett Mullins. My sister and I were in Cherry Valley today, trying to find the Riley Cemetery. If you know exactly where it is I sure would like some help. We drove all over Cherry Valley today and into Birdeye. I went to City Hall but all they knew was it was probadly on a gravel road. We went all over the place looking. I sure would appreciate some help, as I would love a picture of his grave.

Also a lot of the Catlett's are not buried in the Cogbill Cemetery. The Catlett's sold some land to Cogbill many years ago as they needed a place to bury people. The entrance to the cemetery use to have a wrought iron entrance that said Catlett - Cogbill Cemetery. I have know idea what they did with that but hope to find out. So this is also a family cemetery not just Cogbill. My name is Shirley Joyner - Handy from Jacksonville, AR my mom was Lois Catlett daughter of Jessie L. Catlett and mother was Helen Hamrick. I would love to hear from you. Thanks for your help.

William Thomas Lacy
Hi, I found out the date my uncle was born is wrong on his headstone, 1929. The social security death index states that it is 1931. I got to looking and his sister,my mom, was born in 1929 and I know they weren't twins. I was wondering if you could make a comment on his page about the birth date being wrong and put the correct one. Can't do anything about the headstone but maybe it will help others. Thank you.

RE: Wright Family
Hi Brenda,

Yes, these are my grandparents. Alta is the daughter of Alex Wright and Florence Stanley Wright. I would like to be able to link them and also link my father Sam Henry.

Would you transfer this to me? Or how do you do that so I can maintain this site? My father did truly worship his mother. He would like it if I did take care of this. I am new so, I am not sure of the system.

I don't know if it's a family member caring for the sites for Alex Wright and Florence. Do you know?

Thank you Brenda. How wonderful someone has cared enough to add these graves and information.

Hello Brenda,

My name is Sherri Henry Steuber.

My great-grandparents are Alexander and Florence Stanley Wright.

They had a daughter, Alta Agnes Wright who married Samuel Henry and they are buried in the same Oaks Cemetery.

I see the child Bertie but not Alta Agnes, my granmother and she is the mother of my father, Sam E. Henry who was also born in Bentonville, they lived on Sugar Creek.

Please let's talk.

L.A.(W.A.) McClintock 8760643
Hi Brenda, These are the Parents of William Adolphus McClintock (12/11/1844-11/19/1912):
Born in Guilford Co,NC to Samuel McClintock (101698126)and Rebecca Suitor McClintock(101698727).W.A.was a brother to my ancestor james Franklin McClintock, and was known by the family as "Dolf". Would you consider transfering his memorial (8760643) and that of his wife, Rachel Lou Hendrix McClintock(8760656) to me, so that I can enter family info on them and connect them to their birth families. Thank you,in any case, for taking the good pics and establishing their memorials. My #47683128-Babs Lucy.

RE: Lillie Jackson Brown
I've tried but the dates were before they either kept records.. I'm looking for death date of Martin Henry Jackson..son of William Pinkam and Roseanna Stidham Jackson (Martin is the brother of Lillie Jackson Brown). Martin Henry died sometime around 1915 and was buried there in Bay Village but the area where he and his father was buried was washed down into the overgrown ravine during the late 20's and/or early 30's. I know he was a young boy but not sure on date of birth or death. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you again. Joyce

Bagwell
Brenda, your Bagwell memorials at Bluff Springs Cemetery in Webster Co., MS are in the wrong cemetery. They are in Bluff Springs Cemetery in Choctaw County and have marker pictures posted.
