| Bio and Links | I am a family history researcher, primarily on the BURSON surname, although I frequently get side-tracked!! Findagrave has been a huge help to me on many occasions.
I am also a writer, and have recently published a new history of my hometown, Victoria/Strong in Union County, Arkansas. Hardback, 420 pages. Anyone interested may contact me through my personal email.
I have limited copies available of another of my books, "Red Hill - A Novel Of Alabama," a historical novel of my great great grandparents, David Lawson and Celia Ann McInish Burson.
I have just published another book called "A Bad Day Dawning - A Novel of the Independence Day Murders." A historical novel about a pair of brutal murders which took place in Union County, Arkansas on July 4, 1935. | |

 | Mr. Shaw at Strong Cemetery Mike ... He must not have a tombstone. My son and I took photos of every stone we could find. | | | Iris Meshell
 | Ronnie McClendon (#110340729) Mike ... I pulled up Ronnie's memorial and the creator had already posted his photo. I found links for his parents (Leo & Edrie) and sent a S.A.C. for these to be added. | | | shangreer22

 | Ronald Leo "Mac" McLendon Hi Mike, I have updated Ronald Leo "Mac" McCLendon on Find A Grave Memorial# 110340729 with the information you gave me. Thanks very much, I think it's important that we make these memorials as correct as possible for future generations.

 | RE: Oscar Robert Peachy He could be in an unmarked grave, or perhaps in another cemetery??? | | | Iris Meshell
 | RE: Oscar Robert Peachey My son and I took photos of all the graves at Rest Haven that didn't have them. With info from the photos I created the new memorials. I can understand someone not being able to find a stone there. It's a very large cemetery. | | | melody ackman
 | Burson Both Lydia and Jonathan were the children of Joseph Burson Jr and his father was Joseph Burson married to Rachael Potts. I can go back any farther on the Burson side but Rachael Potts parents were Jona and Mary Thomaston Burson. Both of them immigrated from Whales. Jona died in Virginia and Mary in Philly. Rachael and Joseph Burson both died in Virginia. If this sound like your ppart of the family I saw Welcome to the family cousin so may times removed. LOL | | | melody ackman
 | Burson family My great grand mother 4x removed Mahely york was married to John R williams. Her father was William York and he was married to Lydia Burson. She was the daughter of Jospeh Burson. He was the son of Joseph and Rachel Potts Burson. Lydia Burson was the sister of Jonathan Burson who was the father of Isaac Burson. Isaac was the father of David Lawson Burson. If that makes any sence to you. | | | melody ackman
 | Burson family I dont know if you knew this or not but your grandfather David was my second cousin 5 X removed. Just a little information you could add if you like
