Bio and Links
Bio Photo The IWPP was created in September 2005 by Carina and Gary Nelson. Carina is Swedish born whose Grandfather served on the King's Guard of Sweden. Gary is a retired Staff Sergeant of the Washington DC Air National Guard, a retired Police Sergeant as well as retired from the Federal Government.

RECENTLY we have discovered a great number of images uploaded to our Memorial pages which were lifted from other web sites in violation of copyright laws. These will be reported to FindAGrave and the Contributor in question IMMEDIATELY when discovered.

Beginning May 28, 2012 Carina and Gary relocated to Osthammar, Sweden.

TRANSFERS: We will transfer ANY RELATIVE or FAMILY relation. We also transfer interments to BONA FIDE researchers. No name collectors please. IF YOU DO NOT SPECIFY A RELATIONSHIP IN AN SAC OR EMAIL YOUR REQUEST WILL BE DELETED AND NO REPLY GIVEN. We are inundated with SACs and cannot reply if you request does not meet the aforementioned.

REGARDING THE MASS UPLOAD OF INTERMENTS FOR THE NATIONAL CEMETERIES: Recently the IWPP and its Associates uploaded around 800,000 names to the National Cemeteries. The upload is complete but due to spelling errors on the previous interments duplicates were created. The cemeteries are being checked for same but the IWPP can use additional help triaging the cemeteries for dupes. Any help and contribution to this effort is greatly appreciated.

Over the years several people have stepped forward and embraced the idea of the Project and either through the Project or their individual efforts have made a difference in recognizing the War Fallen and military Veterans the world over.

Hello,

I would like to ask if you could please transfer Norma Jean Gann, memorial #72484821 to my care so that I may connect her to our other family members? She is one of my maternal great grandmothers. Thank you so much for your time.

Transfer, please
Hello,
I would very much appreciate the transfer of Donald Orus Smith:
Find A Grave Memorial# 72832393
to my care
He was my husband's brother-in-law and the uncle to our children.
I would like to "reunite" him with his family members that are already in my care.
Thank you so much,
Marcia

Archangel Memorial
Please ignore my previous message

A further monument must have been placed in Brookwood listing all of the men in Archangel Cemetery not sure why, or why this does not appear on the CWGC website. I will give them a call on Monday to clarify

It is now in Brookwood Cemetery, Brookwood, Surrey, England. I have added photos of the memorial to prove its location.

Thank you

RE: name on the tombstone should be Shields
Thanks for clearing that up maybe it would be a good idea to add the alias info to his bio as it is not mentioned, unusually so, on the headstone

regards

Charlie
