|Patrick O||David George Glenn in Old Union|
Nancy, Believe he is buried next to his wife, Margaret Ellen Donaldson Glenn, as he was still alive in the 1880 census, living in Ashby, Shenandoah Co. I just submitted a birth location for Margaret and was wondering if you could check this out. I have the links to his parents in Blackford Cemetery, Luray. Thanks for your great efforts in Find-A-Grave. Patrick O'Flaherty, Lodi, CA.

|E49||Polk, Mary A 'Polly' nee: Hepner - # 13375 5645 - Christ Reformed Ch Cem, C, ScV|
For better or worse fate has thrown us together once more.
While enhancing Birtie Alice nee: Polk Dellinger's memorial, # 6256 4411, including Linking her to her parents, Ananias and this Mary/'Polly' Polk, I found even more enhancing data for this Mary/'Polly' in the Shenandoah County, Va (ScV) VaGenWeb Marriage Indexes and her F-A-G memorial, and figured you would prefer to enhance Mary/'Polly's memorial with this data despite the source, as I know your heart is truly in the right place and that is to create the best and most complete memorials you can.
To that end I have submitted for your review and approval, my 'auto e/cs' to enhance Mary/'Polly's memorial with her aparent real given name of Mary, her maiden name of Hepner, her aparent tombstone inscribed nickname of Polly to it rightful location as her nickname, and her PoB as Shenandoah County, Virginia as proven by her own ScV Marriage Index as recorded for her 1st marriage on 20nov1863 in ScV, to Confederate soldier W B West, of Baltimore, MD, whom I have not fould in F-A-G yet. That 1st ScV Marriage Index record notes her parents to be Gideon and Sarah Hepner, to whom I have submitted my 'auto e/c' to Link her to.
I truly have faith that your wisdom will override your recent displeasure of my below posted suggested correction for a different memorial and you will accept my awaiting enhancements in the spirit that they were submitted.
Thank you again for all your F-A-G efforts and consideration of my submitted enhancements.
Always, in F-A-G brother/sisterhood,

|E49||RE: Dellinger, Sarah Ann nee: Overholtz - # 77561516 - Revisited Again|
I am truly sorry you feel the way you do, especially since our goals from all I have seen are the same, well done memorials to folks that deserve being remembered.
May your heart and soul come to realize my truly well meaning and honorable intentions.
The photo of Sarah didn't need to be moved, but simply recategorized.
I hope you gave the other F-A-Ger that brought the same type of situation to your attention, just 3 days after I did, more credit and respect than you have shown me, as the error involved was not my fault to begin with.
I hold out hope that should you find enhancements for any of the memorials I manage, that just as I would continue to offer my 'auto e/cs' to enhance yours, you would honor me with the same.
Always, in Find-A-Grave brother/sisterhood,

RE: Dellinger, Sarah Ann nee: Overholtz - # 77561516 - Revisited
I really don't want to hear from you again. It seems that you think I am two years old for some reason (I am way beyond that). A short note asking me to move the photo would have sufficed, not a dissertation on how Find A Grave works. Sorry to sound gruff, but I really don't have time for this. Best wishes!

This 'return public reply' to your 'posted public reply' on my Contributor page is posted here for clarification and is only to set the record straight.
My intention was only to educate, in case you did not know about the various photo classifications available when posting to F-A-G, not to point a finger. Had you had an e-mail address available, I would have certainly handled this privately, as we are all human. But for whatever reason you have chosen to only allow other volunteer F-A-Gers to contact you through a 'public message' left on your Contributor page. As you will note in my original message dated 21may2015, below, I praised you, and your much appreciated kindness in sharing the now removed photo of Sarah. You provided a wonderful enhancement to a distant relative's memorial.
Should you read either my original message again or this 2nd message from me and somehow misinterpret any of my message as being anything but constructive and sent with the highest regards for you and your efforts, then you are sadly misinformed and are failing to give me the credit and respect that I gave you and give to all Find-A-Gravers. We all are deserving of credit and respect that spend countless hours of our spare time trying to make someone's search for their loved ones successful.

RE: Dellinger, Sarah Ann nee: Overholtz - # 77561516
Dear No Name (e49),
Your message has left me speechless. Are you really serious? I do this on a volunteer basis. Oh, my finger almost slipped and hit the wrong button. I will do my utmost to hit the proper button at all times. You have an assistant? This is not my profession, but an attempt to help others.
I have a daughter with stage IV breast cancer, and I don't have time for your trivialities. I will delete this memorial and you can put it in yourself.
--- End of reply message ---
It is aparent throughout your above message that your day was more stressful than most folks could imagine. For your family's health problems and the related stress on your family, I am truly sorry and will include you in my prayers. I too have had great sorrow thrust upon me this year. On that note, enough said.
After reading this message, should you still have concerns about my well intentioned original message, then I openly and honestly invite you to contact me through my available e-mail address.
In Find-A-Grave brother/sisterhood,

Thank you for taking the gravestone photographs for the above Golladay family.
|hdharrison1973||Captain Reuben Harrison of Rockingham, VA|
Nancy - I am the 6th great granddaughter of Captain Reuben Harrison. The cemetery you photographed in Mauzy, does it still exist? I am in WV but hope to travel to Rockingham for the first time in August. And, he no longer has a stone? It was destroyed long ago? Correct?
Thank you for any information!
|Shock||Ralph Edward Combs|
Could you delete three of the same photos off of his memorial please? You possibly did it by accident. Thank you. He is buried in Zirkle Cemetery.

I appreciate you spending the time to take and post these nice photos. Thank you very much. Could you please add the photo you put on Ollie P's (142820036) memorial to Olive Pearl's (142470050) memorial? I didn't realize at the time that I had created a duplicate, which I need to delete. Thank you.
