I have been a genealogist for over twenty years. As part of my research, I photographed family gravestones and have posted them (and others) on Findagrave. Anyone wanting these posted photos (for their own family research) is welcome to make copies or to contact me for a copy.|
Since I wrote the above, my interest in posting to Findagrave has changed. I started with just my family tree, but I have expanded to doing unrelated gravestones & memorials also. Because of personal issues I will not add genealogical information to memorials that is not on the gravestone, unless I personally do the research. By doing this I avoid the issue of what the sources are. The exception to this is my own family tree which I have deeply researched in primary sources. Regarding the memorials I have added that are not related to me, I will be happy to and would rather transfer them to a relative of any degree or other person with a vested interest. This is because I believe that a related person will do a better job of maintaining and have more information to add to a memorial along with having more motivation to see to the linking of related persons on Findagrave. But PLEASE LET ME KNOW YOUR RELATIONSHIP to the requested memorial as part of your transfer request. If you choose to ignore my relationship information request I will choose to ignore your transfer request. Because of my health issues, in the future any requests for changes to unrelated memorials I have, will result in them being transferred to the person requesting the changes. So I am requesting relationship information the same as a transfer request. I hope this is OK with all. Thank you.

You're welcome. You might also want to go change the dates and add her month, day, year and place of birth and death.

Than You so much for the Beck transfers. My mother will be thrilled to see her father's family linked together. Karen
|MHoldzkom||Joe W Taggart|
Thanks so much for uploading the photo of Joe Taggart's gravestone. He was a big fan of the circus and built some of the most amazing and detailed models of circus wagons imaginable. And such a simple gravestone. It doesn't suit the man's talent and creativity!
|Teresa Wieman||Ammermann desdendent|
You asked about the children of Engelke Ammermann. My husband is descended from Maidie Ammermann Wiemann & her husband Christian. Are you part of the family?
Thanks for posting the photo of Mr. Fitzpatrick's headstone.
Mr. Fitzpatrick was a 1st Lt. in the 444th Bomb Group, 58th Bomb Wing, 20th Air Force during WWII. The 444th was one of the Bomb Groups that introduced the B-29 Superfortress into the war.
I have sent this info and his obit to the memorial owner.

|Michael S. Caldwell||Nesbitt|
Dear Alva, many thanks to you for locating and photographing the inscription for the Nesbitt family. I was especially glad about this because for many years I had lost track of this family and am glad to have them identified. It was a wonderful bonus to have the infant child identified along with dates. I surely appreciate that. Best regards to you, and happy hunting! -- MSC
Thank you for submitting the family tombstone. Jackie
