RE: PVT William Williams #18416007
Sorry for my previous abrupt message, but what is the argument/reasoning for the earlier memorial in a different cemetery? You can't just have the Front Royal memorial deleted because it at least constitutes a cenotaph. Does the earlier cemetery still exist, or was it built over by construction? If he was/is really buried in the other cemetery, why is his marker in Prospect Hill/Front Royal?

Adah Agnes Wyatt
Adah is how her first name is listed on her death rerods in California. As for Margaret Harmon Anthony 5260793 I don't know. Someone linked George Harmon Beckham to her but their mother was Margaret L Harmon, not Margaret C Harmon. So I don't know. Our Margaret was born in Apr 1867 Her father was Jacob Isaac Harmon and her mother was Mary Burges. I have no record of her marrying an Anthony although William Caswell Beckham Had a child by his second wife Florida in 1910 so his first wife was gone then.

Sperry photo rqst for Roselawn Cemetery
the backside of the Sperry monument shows Williams and Lorenzi. You can see the back and side pictures on Memorial# 78754262.

Is this applicable for your Sperry graves? Should I post the picture, or simply note a reference to Memorial# 78754262 ?

Adam Washington Ballenger
You have his daughter as Minne Ballenger. This is incorrect. His daughter was Mamie Ballenger. She married a Poole. Mamie Ballenger Poole and is buried in Campobello S.C. At first Baptist church. Could you make the change please. THanks and have a great day.
Robert Huffman.

Adam Ballenger is my Great Great Grandfather.

William Dickey Memorial
I am a Dickey descendant and was wondering if you or your wife was the relative of the Dickey line. William Dickey's revolutionary war service was put into question back in the 1980s and any new submittals either in the DAR or SAR haven't been accepted since. The DAR changed their acceptance criteria and with the new measures the Virginia service didn't pass their requirements for new member acceptacnce. Two years ago I submitted a 'corrections request' with DAR. I spoke with them in advance and they said with the new proofs I have gathered that the hold should be removed once the 'corrections request' is reviewed. Unfortunately, for the 'corrections request' to be reviewed, it requires an active DAR member submittal request for William Dickey. SAR is subservient to DAR so until DAR corrects the file I am unable to submit. I am hoping that you might have a female over 18 in your family that would submit for William Dickey. It is a long shot, I know but thought I would ask. Btw, William Dickey's service record was actually from South Carolina. All that remains of his military records are a few scraps of paper that refer to him getting his military back pay in 1784. If you wish more info, my email address is

I am sorry, but mine is not the duplicate. You moved yours to the cemetery after mine was made and I have the google cache page showing you had him in Crown Hill. As mine was placed in the correct cemetery first, please delete your duplicate. Thanks!
