Bio and Links
Bio Photo I started my geneaolgy journey quite by accident. A question came up in my family ancestry, so I decided to see if I could answer it. I found the answer and I was excited about the find. My husband then purchased a family tree computer program and it has snowballed from there. I love history and thinking about how our ancestors lived. I enjoy sharing with others the newest information found. It's a great way to honor our heritage and remember the ones who came before us. "Some" of the names I am researching are....Brune, Stehwien, Mangelsdorf, Fickel, Southard, Harris, Holloman, Troxel, Ward, Osborne, Stubblefield, Coffin, Guerrant, Porche, Guilfoyle plus related lines.

Thanks to all that have contributed to my memorials. I am willing to share what information I have. Sharing is what Find A Grave is all about. That's my belief! Please feel free to use any of my information or photos for your own use.

Please, if you find any errors or if I can make any additions, let me know!

Mary Ward Carter
I just posted a photo for Mary. It is very difficult to read but I feel confident that it is her marker. To the left of Mary is a marker for Electa Kitchell, first wife of Elias Carter. To the left of Electa are markers for other Carters--Charles, Clarissa, Amanda, etc.

There is no evidence of a log cabin on the property.

Mary Ward Carter
I think I found Mary's marker. I have been studying the photo I took but it is very difficult to read. I plan on stopping by the cemetery in a few days to look at the marker in different lighting and to check out the markers next to hers in hopes of determining if she is among other Carters or Wards.

RE: Jersey Presbyterian
There is a small building which I assume holds mowing equipment, etc., but it doesn't appear to be that old. I will look around the area. If I see something interesting, I'll send you a photo.

RE: Adams family in Mt. Moriah
I created a memorial for little Dennis. I believe he might have been Frank's grandson, you can probably see that from the info I added. I will be glad to transfer the memorial to you.

RE: Adams family in Mt. Moriah
From what I can surmise, Dennis was their grandson. He was the son of Howard Adams.

RE: Bolivar City Cemetery
It is so much fun when I actually find the people! Many times markers are gone or can't be read. I could read just enough to know I had the right person. I don't know if you can read it or not from the photo.

Harris Children- Green Ridge
I just wanted to let you know that I was out at the Hickory Point Cemetery (just outside of Green Ridge city limits) the other day and thought of you. I found a stone that had 2 Harris children on it, along with a mother that had died a couple of days after one of the children (obviously from child birth?). I thought maybe these could have been the Harris children you were looking for, even though they are not in the Green Ridge City Cemetery. I did not document anything on the stones, but if you think this might be the family you are looking for, I can try to get out there this weekend and check it out. Let me know!
