Bio

I've been into genealogy online since 2001, but had always had an interest before all these technological advances. Now that most of my ancestors are 'sourced' at Ancestry.com, I'm attempting to finish each member with a pictorial record of their final resting place. I thoroughly enjoy this jigsaw-puzzle called family tree making and would love it if I could help anyone else out in their genealogical journey.Currently (fall '11 - now), I'm in the process of photo-documenting a couple of the local cemeteries in El Dorado County. All of the interments I enter for these I'm no relation to. If you want me to transfer management, I'm willing to do so. Just ask :)I am extremely passionate about what I do for Find A Grave. Although, merely a volunteer, the end results are so much more gratifying. Connecting loved ones with those looking for them is the most rewarding for me.With the many gold country pioneer cemeteries I've plodded through in recent years, it just makes me want to identify each plot even more and with accuracy. I'll have to say that one of the cemeteries that made my jaw drop in beauty was Forest Lawn, Glendale. I've coined it "city of the dead" because its population is over 10,000... five of which are my ancestors.
