I enjoy taking photos for Find A Grave. My interest started while researching my own ancestors. As I took photos of their stones I also took photos of those around them, especially the older ones before they are no longer readable. I hope someone else's journey into their past is a little easier because of the photos I have taken. I enjoy it very much when someone has found a family member's entry in Find A Grave that I created. |
I will gladly transfer memorials to direct family members upon request.
Please ask before using any photos I have taken for Find A Grave. Thank you!

Thank you so much. I have been searching for records of my mother's sister that died at the age of 16. This has been a tremendous help in putting the pieces in the puzzle.

Thanks for your response. Unfortunately the cemetery office at this location has not answered several attempts to get in touch with them. (I also called in person when visiting the United States, but no-one was in.) This was in connection with another query. Knowing the exact location of this grave would have been helpful, but not essential. So thanks again for getting back to me.

You have a photograph of this stone for George M Wilson (1889-1974) for United Cemeteries, Ross Township, Pittsburgh.
Can you supply any information as to where in the cemetery this memorial is to be found?

If it's the Margaret O'Neill that I'm researching, then there's no known connection to a Nelson family. I believe this could be Margaret O'Neill, that was married to Michael Hayden and daughter of Leon and Anna O'Neill but I have nothing to support that theory. It may not be her, given that there's no other family members near her, I would have expected to find her buried next to her husband, who predeceased her but he's in a totally different cemetery. Definitely a mystery.

Thank you for checking, I really appreciate it. Very odd that the office didn't have a record of that burial under Margaret Hayden. If she's part of the family I'm researching, then her maiden name was O'Neill, I can try and contact the office again and see if she was buried under O'Neill.
Thanks again for all your help.

I was curious about a memorial that you created for Margaret O'N Hayden (#126019220). When I contacted Christ Our Redeemer Catholic Cemetery direct, they had no record of this burial. Is it possible that she's buried in another cemetery and was uploaded to this one in error? I'm trying to find out more about her because I believe she's a member of a family I'm researching.

It's best not to link that certificate. Thanks for asking first.

Would you be able to link this with his mother's page? I just created a page for his mother and my only choices to link were Spouse or parents. His mother is Marie Schwenk Hazelbach, Sewickley Cemetery. Marie is my husband's grt- grt grandmother. Thank you!

Albert Steele, Rehobeth Cemetery, Economy, PA. His first wife was Eliza (Lyda) Barto, daughter of William Barto and Symantha Smith Barto, who are buried in Concord Church Cemetery. When married, the Steeles lived in Wayne County, NY. He came back to Beaver County following their divorce.
Would you be willing to transfer to me the record for Eva Feduska (#81983159)? She was my great-grandmother (mother of my paternal grandfather).
Thank you for creating this record and taking the photo -- it made it much easier for me to locate this headstone in the cemetery when I visited in 2012.
