Bio and Links
Bio Photo I enjoy taking photos for Find A Grave. My interest started while researching my own ancestors. As I took photos of their stones I also took photos of those around them, especially the older ones before they are no longer readable. I hope someone else's journey into their past is a little easier because of the photos I have taken. I enjoy it very much when someone has found a family member's entry in Find A Grave that I created.
I will gladly transfer memorials to direct family members upon request.
Please ask before using any photos I have taken for Find A Grave. Thank you!

Thank you so much! I think that is where he is too, St John Vianney. I have found that his father was buried in St. Georges, which is now combined with St Joseph's. That is the area where they lived. Thank you so much for letting me know and for providing me with contact information, I do want all the information to be correct. I will call tomorrow and verify.

Thank you so much for the information. I really do appreciate it. Under Find A Grave, there are 12 St Joseph cemeteries listed in Allegheny Co. I looked at a Google map and found the St Joseph's Mount Oliver Cemetery on Brownsville Rd., none of the Find A Grave cemeteries are listed as Mount Oliver. Could you tell me which Find A Grave cemetery is the correct one?
Thanks again for any assistance you can give.
Nancy

RE: Laura Smith
No, your Benjamin Grove is not her father; her father is buried here in Huntingdon county, my home area.
A daughter to Laura and Samuel is: Edith M.(Smith) Bittner is buried in Allison Park with Memorial # 139592004.Edith born: Sept 1899 Died: 4-4-1982. Laura has two sons, but I can't verify them in Allegheny County. Thanks for your help. Ruby

So happy to find a memorial photo and record for my great aunt. We lost all contact with this part of our family in Allegheny county. She is my grandmother, Bessie/Rebecca (Grove) McCall's sister. They were 2 of 15 children of Benj/Nancy Grove in Huntingdon County, Penn Twp, Pa. Thanks, Ruby Shearburn ruby7_43@msn.com

Thank you so much. I have been searching for records of my mother's sister that died at the age of 16. This has been a tremendous help in putting the pieces in the puzzle.

RE: Re: Margaret Hayden
If it's the Margaret O'Neill that I'm researching, then there's no known connection to a Nelson family. I believe this could be Margaret O'Neill, that was married to Michael Hayden and daughter of Leon and Anna O'Neill but I have nothing to support that theory. It may not be her, given that there's no other family members near her, I would have expected to find her buried next to her husband, who predeceased her but he's in a totally different cemetery. Definitely a mystery.
