Before making a Find-A-Grave photo request, I recommend calling the cemetery ahead of time to find the plot location. I tend first to fulfill requests that include locations.|
Because I respect private property, I will not photograph the following cemeteries, which I know have forbidden Find-A-Grave photography on their grounds:
New Cathedral Cemetery, Philadelphia
Ressurrection Cemetery, Bensalem

Thank you very much for taking the time and effort to photograph Jeffrey's grave marker. He was a high school classmate of mine and will be missed.

Thank you so much for the proof of burial photo for this Civil War soldier. Your work will help us to register his grave at the East Tn. History Center. Again thank you. We could not do this without you.

Thanks so much, Tim. I will get back to you in a day or two on Elizabeth's marker. My husband is having surgery in the morning. You know that that she is the older sister of Gen. George G. Meade of Gettysburg fame. I will send you some information on all the ones there, and perhaps you can get some good pictures of other of the family markers. Some remarkable folks. You have my email address - if you want to contact me privately I will send you some material about them.

I annotated and co-edited Leaves, The Civil War Diary of Elizabeth Meade Ingraham, Rebel Sister of Gen. George Meade, a few years ago. At that time I had a picture of the family grouping of markers and the sons' memorial. I see that you have added a remarkable photo of Elizabeth's husband Alfred's casket. Can you tell me more about it. Also, was Elizabeth's casket uncovered and photographed?
Thank you for all you do to preserve history.

Thank you! I printed both, but I think the brightened one is better. I'm just starting the research on this project, so it will probably be done in about a year. I usually have 20-50 copies printed, and I'll be glad to send you one - I'll just need your address. My e-mail address is firstname.lastname@example.org.

I'm working on a volume of grave locations for veterans of Co. M, 15th NY Heavy Artillery. Could I have your permission to use the picture you posted of James Corwin's grave in this compilation? I will cite you as the source.
|Carol Lee Wittneben||My photo request for Marie Ing|
Thank you for taking the photo of Marie Ing's headstone. I appreciate the time and effort you put into this. My family will be so pleased to see these photos. You are special!
|Billy Walker||RE: Pvt Patrick Bradley still at Mount Moriah.|
Thank you for the update. I had always suspected Pvt Bradley was not at the National Cemetery, but I had the Veterans Admin transfer it to me so I could update the Bio. When I found he had a marker at Mount Moriah I included that info on the National Cemetery memorial. I cannot delete the memorial because it was transferred to me, but I will contact findagrave to see if they will delete it. Thank you for the Photos of the tombstone.
