Currently live in SE Wisconsin. Been working on my family's tree for over 25 years. My ancestors lived in Massachusetts & Conn, so hard to get pics. Will be appreciative of any help from area.
Happy to take cemetery pics for this area. If you have ancestors from Kenosha or Racine, I don't mind doing research. Between the library & history centers there is alot of information easily available.

Feel free to use any pictures I've posted.

If I maintain a memorial for a relative of yours and you would like it transferred, just let me know. I like to maintain my relatives, whenever possible:)

Appreciate any factual information for any memorial I've created. I've attempted to be as accurate as possible, but sometimes little or no info is available. I believe in quality of memorials not quantity, they deserve our best efforts.

Our ancestors give us insight to who we are, good to know!!

RE: Elijah Twining
That single corner piece has bothered me for years. Elijah is the one who brought the family to Tolland, so not great when there is no stone. I tapped down with my trowel, then removed dirt and grass. There he was, exactly as the cemetery transcription stated. My trip from AZ was worth it.

Elijah Twining
FYI: The mystery of the corner piece of Elijah's stone has been solved. Take a look at the stone I unearthed yesterday in Twining Cemetery.

Your welcome! Thank you for supplying their location! Makes it much easier as it's a huge cemetery.

RE: Grey children
Hi, Mary! I could see that you care about these children! I am the same way..hate to see babies or children buried without any other family there - I always work xtra hard to try to locate the parents - I came upon these children by accident - I am a genealogist linking everybody in Sherman Co, NE, and was working on Alexander Holmes Gray - discovered where his parents, James and Ann, were buried, then looked for their children - they were the only James and Ann Gray in Kenosha during that time frame - I was looking for Katie (b. 1858) and Johnnie (b. 1862) and found your Katie and Johnny, but the dates didn't match - rechecked censuses for their birth years - then read your notes about parentage, and it fits, but I have no proof...the birth years of your children fit perfectly with the gaps between James and Ann's children, and again, they were the only James and Ann there - it was not unusual to re-use a first name back then..anyway, up to you if you want to link them...thanks so much for your work!!! :) k
