I checked today at Monmouth Memorial Park about the burial site for John Flock. Although he was cremated here, his ashed are not interred here. According to their records, they were returned to the funeral home of record which was "Flock".

It would be OK the cemetery is abandoned and being cared for by the Friends of Abandoned Cemeteries Staten Island (FACSI). The stones are very heavy and will take more than 1 person to move them. I don't know if 2 people can move some of them. Some stones maybe laying flat with vines covering them.

Nancy, my wife and I looked all over that cemetery yesterday and took photos of all of the Van Pelts, Van Names, Deckers, Jones, Kipps graves but could not find any of your other requests. A lot of the stones have been pushed over onto their faces so they can't be read. Others are covered in ivy and vines.

I went into the cemetery after services today. Benj and hannah are no better, but here is the picture. The lichen is no better and no worse. the coating they used on the stones encouraged moss, mold and lichens, plus made they are more difficult to read.

You have 3 photo requests for this cemetery, but do not list the plot location. If you could call the cemetery and update the location information, I could claim the photo request.
I would like to eventually get over to the Old Tennent Churchyard to take photos. I do know there are quite a few Myers buried in the same plot. I haven't been there, but found info on their site. Also, ddn't see an Elizabeth, but a Lizzie B, age 5 who died on 10/28/1865. There is also a Josephine, age 3 died 10/29/1865 both daughters of Robert. Then another daughter of Robert, listed as Mary (Berckmans), age 5 died on 10/14/1863. Have you looked at the Old Tennent site? They have many records online.
PS. Your AOL address doesn't work. Do you have a new one?

In February 2014 I hope to go to Trenton NJ and I will look up the death certificate to see what the maiden name is
The RBR is well known for a variety of mistakes and errors - at least by me - so we'll see what her death certificate reads
Hi Mike, I believe Georgianna's maiden name is Price. I believe Hannell is her mothers maiden name (sometimes included in the obit and VERY helpful, too). Please let me know if you agree.
