Hometown is Sanford, Florida. My husband and I were in High School together, "High School Sweethearts". We were married on June 29th, 1962 in Sanford. One of the things I love to do is roam old cemeteries and take pictures, and Jim thought I was odd in that respect. Now I know there's a name for people like me...Taphophiles.I have reaped so many benefits from this site, and never knew it existed until a sweet lady in Sanford called to tell me Jim was on here. <><><><><><><><><><><><><>
FAMILY RESEARCH IN PROGRESS:
Researching: Collins - Whitmore - Layfield

My time here on Find A Grave has been so limited here lately due to doing family research, work, and everyday life. Your continued visits to my loved ones does not go unnoticed, and I will continue to do my best to remember Angel Days and Birthdays. Thank you so much for being wonderful friends. <><><><><><><><><><><><>
"When we honestly ask ourselves which person in our lives mean the most to us, we often find that it is those who, instead of giving advice, solutions, or cures, have chosen rather to share our pain and touch our wounds with a warm and tender hand, the friend who can be silent with us in a moment of despair or confusion, who can stay with us in an hour of grief and bereavement, who can tolerate not knowing, not curing, not healing and face with us the reality of our powerlessness, that is a friend who cares." "Henri J.M. Nouwen"
To all of you"THANK YOUR FOR BEING A FRIEND" <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>
<><><><><><><><><><><><><> "You will lose someone you can't live without, and your heart will be badly broken, and the bad news is that you never completely get over the loss of your beloved. But this is also the good news. They live forever in your broken heart that doesn't seal back up. And you come through. It's like having a broken leg that never heals perfectly-that still hurts when the weather gets cold, but you learn to dance with the limp." ~Anne Lamott~
When my soul is restless / And things seem out of line / I visit an old graveyard / To take a mystical step back in time. /
I find the oldest tombstones / Then read the message there / I consider what their days had been / And how our lives in ways compare. /
We all have lived through heartaches / As well as episodes of fun / Surviving loss of loved ones / And rewarded for a job well done. / Sometimes if I'm very still / I can hear what they have to say / And feel them reaching out to me / Grateful for my momentary stay.

Chirstmas Blessings 🎄 I wish you a Merry Christmas and a happy and peaceful New Year. In this way, I say again, "thank you" for the many visiting family; as well as today in memory of the 90th birthday of my beloved Mother. It means a lot to me . Kindest regards, Monika🎄
Hi my friend I just found out today is your Birthday. God Bless Rosie for remembering all these dates for me. I don't remember my Birthday anymore. Ha. I guess this "elderly" brain of mine doesn't remember too much. I hope you are having a wonderful Birthday with family and friends in that WARM Florida sunshine. It's in the low 30's here today, but it's supposed to be 71 on Christmas day. I've never known it to be that WARM at Christmas, in my whole 76 years. Thank you Jesus. Have a Happy, Happy Birthday and a wonderful Christmas, and may the New year bring you health, wealth and Happiness. Sorry my visits to your memorials has been slack lately. I'll try to do better in the New year. God Willing. Love to you and yours. Bobbie
