Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am the bookkeeper for Mt. Zion Cemetery in Olanta. I'm currently working on a grave plot plan. I find cemeteries to be interesting places and pretty peaceful places to take a walk alone, with my wife and the dog. Cemeteries somewhat close by me are Mt. Zion, Oak Hill (Curwensville), Watts, McClure, Lumber City, Crowncrest, Hillcrest and Centre (Hyde). I will look at others too.
My family include Barnett, Sloppy, Hess, Young and Chase.
I enjoy helping people find the sites of relatives. My only wish is that there would be more in depth information put in memorials so that it is available for future generations.

Stoneville and Old Clearfield
Greg: Would You happen to have any contact information (e-mail or tele) for Stoneville and the Old Clearfield (accross from Hillcrest) Cemeteries ?? I have a gut feel of certain people are interred there but no proof and will not post unless certain. No use sending people on a wild goose chase, so to speak.

Would appreciate any information.

Regards - Tom

RE: St. Basil - Gondek
Thank you soo much for the photos! This is fantastic to see as my Uncle George passed here in Texas and was buried here. I've never seen photos of his family until I found a few on the ancestry website. As far as the other names Im not sure who they were. I would have to do some research on them. But thank thank you for the photos again! I really appreciate it. God Bless =)

RE: Bloom's in New Millport
Greg: Thanks for the info, very valuable

(1) I have posted Mary Lidie (Schoening) Bloom
and have placed a Photo Request.

(2) Sorry the Zion Cemetery I was referred to is the Zion Cemetery in Ansonville. One thing that does not add up is the fact most of the children of William T Bloom are interred in the New Millport Cemetery. As I recall Ann Carson Bloom died abt 1863 or 1864 and have no idea where she is interred.

(3) Will contact Rick, maybe he can shed some light on the subject. I am aware of the absolute number of Bloom's in Clearfield County and not sure if any one can ever sort it out.

(4) The double posting of Cemeteries is a little frustrating - I caught another person double posting the Centre Cemetery in Hyde (Where my Great Grandparents are) and got them to Stop.

As always You are a wealth of information and it is greatly appreciated - THANK YOU

Bloom's in New Millport
Greg: Thanks for the Photo - Now which wife of Amos Burchfield Bloom is there ??? His 1st wife way Mary Schoening and the second was Ella. Let me know and I will post.

As far as Bloom's go I am also looking for Ann Carson Bloom who I think may be there. Also William T Bloom and Eliza Chase Bloom (some records indicate that they are in the Zion Cemetery but not real clear) They did live in Ansonville.

I just complete a project with another Find A Grave member and we added abt 50 people to this Cemetery (Mostly Erhard's)

Can You give me a rough guess as to how many graves are in this Cemetery ???

Thanks again

Grave of Oliver Rippey
I live in Erie and am working on a volume of grave locations for veterans of the Mexican War. I would like your permission to use the picture you posted of Oliver Rippey's grave in this compilation. I will cite you as the source.

Thank you.

Hugh Caldwell(s)
Hello. You have added pictures for both Hugh Caldwell, Jr. and Hugh Alexander Caldwell (thank you!) Hugh Jr. is my 5th great grandfather thru my father's line. Can you confirm if they are at Center Hill Cemetary, Wallaceton or Centre Cemetary, Hyde? The photos show they are in the same place, but the cemetary names are showing different.

Thanks!
