To keep weeds out of the beautiful Find A Grave garden....
First, I don't link to Unknown Burial Site Memorials as Unknown Burial Sites shouldn't be on FAG according to the guidelines of the website. The first criteria for making a memorial on FAG is having the burial site, as this is a grave registration site.
Second, I may or may not transfer outside of the guidelines to an established member. It is my choice. Long-time hard working-members, who are busy in surveying cemeteries and taking grave photos impress me more than someone who is collecting others' memorials for their personal goal or waiting for someone to find the burial sites for their numerous memorials made with an "unknown burial site".
Lastly, there are no duplicated memorials on FAG. If I find a duplicated memorial while researching this site, there is 99% chance that it will be deleted or merged eventually.
You may disagree with the guidelines but remember the guy who started Find A Grave wrote them. He is the boss.

I can't locate any info either. Good luck. I will keep tying. John

Hi Linda, both of these listed cemeteries are one and the same. I don't think the original listing had the correct information as far as city or county. I looked them up on google and it's the same. Thanks, John

Thank you for sharing the information for my
Joseph Plaskett memorial. I have updated the
memorial with the information that you have
given me except for the epitaph and the spelling
of the last name, I have kept it at Plasket, that
is how it is spelled on his current gravestone.
I could see it causing a problem if I changed
the spelling to Plaskett. A volunteer may put
another memorial in with the spelling Plasket
and claim that I had spelled the name wrong!
The epitaph is as found by Bradford Kingman which
was published in his book in 1892, he does have
the name spelled Plaskett, which leads me to
believe Joseph's gravestone is probably a re-
placement for it is now spelled Plasket. It is
believed that Joseph's wife Tabitha wrote his
epitaph. I have also added the information from
Soldiers and Sailors of the Revolutionary War to
I appreciate your input on this memorial. Thank
you for all the hard work you do for Find A Grave.

Thank you so much for letting me know. It has been taking care of. That is one of the cemeteries I took photos of the whole cemetery. I always thoroughly check, but some times peoples names are spelled different. Or they just don't come up. Not to mention My eyes get tired after hours of working on this sight. I am like every one else, and can just accidentally miss them. I'm into genealogy, I'm very serious about it. Therefor I try my best in getting what ever I can recorded for any sight. But I do appreciate it very much. A lot of people won't bother letting you know.
Thanks so much.

Hi Linda, is there any particular reason why you added an "overview photo" to my memorial for Bertha Franz? It really doesn't put anymore emphasis on the Foertsch/Franz family plot. It's too far away. Perhaps if you had a closer up shot, it would do the picture justice, or did you add the picture to wrong memorial? Just curious. Regards, Nadeen
|sharon McDaniel kinser||RE: Retford Voyles, L l# 45456960|
Linda, I removed my photo from the duplicate memorial. Ret Voyles was my GG-uncle. The sun wouldn't cooperate and the picture wasn't very good anyhow. I already intended to retake it next time I am in Kentucky.

I have removed the duplicate record for her that I had.
|Lexie||RE: Walter Blackstone|
Have made the transfer. I'm just putting them in and prefer that they go to family no matter how distantly related. You can at least help anyone searching for additional information while I can not. Glad to have helped in some way.
